Her vocals have improved immensely in my opinion, she sounds fantastic here. she's obviously built up stamina and is able to sing and dance without losing her breath all the time as she did previously. She does need to work on enunciating, she tends to slur her words together. But love Ariana and she's definitely at a peak in her career. Love all these videos, great quality!
i know this comment was 7 years ago when she was doing very well in her career but it’s crazy to know now that this was just the start of her career and her peak was yet to come.

I was there and I dont know if she sang the second verse like this at the other shows... but that note change literally had me on the floor crying cause it was so damn good.

haute monstre They both suck, but My Everything sucks so much worse overall that it makes Yours Truly seem better. That being said, My Everything has the better songs (One Last Time, My Everything, Why Try) but the rest are SO AWFUL. Yours Truly's biggest problem was the production and the lack of real instrumentation, the songs sounded so much better live when played with real instruments. The creativity on most of My Everything is really lacking, most of the songs are just boring and uninspired or are complete marketing shills.

***** In some cases, yes. But I still think she has a lot to improve upon in that respect. This song in particular is one of her mumbliest. I thought she was doing pretty well at the show in terms of enunciation, and then it all came apart for this song. I still have no idea what any of the lyrics are besides "break free," then again I don't like this song and I never listen to it if I don't have to.
If you compare with her past performances of this song, I'd say that she has improved greatly.

People who try to act like anyone that exercises critical thinking ability and makes observations about the choices an artist makes is a personal attack on the artist or the fans are genuinely shitty people and especially shitty fans. I've been a fan for long enough to see her change and evolve, in some good ways and some bad ways. I want her to live up to her potential as an artist, but she isn't really, and most of her fans are like you and want to pretend like everything she does is just perfect and above being analyzed. If you truly support someone, you would want to see them be the best they can be, and slurring your way through generic, shitty songs isn't the best she can do.

Why do you upload concert videos of her,but talk trash about her in the comments? On another video you claim you've been a fans of hers since 2009 but then say her songs are complete & utter garbage. You also talk trash about her slurring her words Ariana has admitted that she needs to work on that. Don't buy tickets (that AREN'T cheap) to her concerts just to talk trash about her. there are REAL fans that could've been in your seats at her concert that could've been that close to her as you usually are for her.

Music is what I live for and I have a lot more experience with it than the average person, not that I'm a professional or that I know everything, but I am far more knowledgeable than the typical Ariana fan who just listens to every pop star that record labels want you to listen to. Not everything you perceive as negative is "trash talk." There is such a thing as criticism, and if you actually care about an artist then you should be critical of the choices they make so they can be the best they can be. You seem like you're trying to be an expert on the "trash talk" but you didn't mention any of the times I talk about how talented she is. I want her to live up to her potential, which she rarely does with a lot of her current songs. Songs like this, Bang Bang, The Way and several others are complete garbage, does that mean Why Try, One Last Time and My Everything are too? Nope. That's not how it works. "REAL fans" don't blindly love everything an artist does whether or not it's good. If you tell someone that everything they do is good, even when it sucks, they're never going to learn from their mistakes because they'll never know when they've actually made a mistake. By not acknowledging when something is bad, you're not being supportive. And if you think that she doesn't have an enunciation problem, especially in this song, then you are fucking deaf. I'm sure she's aware that she has the issue but it's only gotten worse over the last few years, so either she's not working on it enough or the people around her aren't being honest enough to help her fix it. And I didn't pay for the tickets, "real fans" wouldn't have had access to them even if I didn't go.
