It's a lovely discourse. We need more like these. I just wanted to add a bit of nuance to this discourse, if I may.
If someone is being abused by their partner or boss or somebody other than themselves, they should seek help and work towards getting this person out of their life. It's not their fate, it is not something they have to tolerate. The reason being:
When you become a realized being, you start to see people around you and how they are suffering. Suffering because they have not realized that they are not their body or their mind. They are just rolling blindly in the pains of life thinking they own their pain. So, a realized being shows compassion towards them. A realized being knows why they are suffering. The same reason guruji pointed out in his discourse -- because of their past karma and the vail of illusion that covers their eyes.
A realized being, even if they are being abused or cursed, can still show love and compassion towards these abusers. Because they have learnt the technique to not take these curses and abuses personally. They do not carry the weight of this abuse with them beyond that moment when they are being abused or cursed. And also, they do not attract such abusers in their lives as well. And even if they come across such abusive people they know the tactics on how to deal them.
However, for someone who has not experienced the Brahman within themselves, they still think they are their body, their mind. They take these abuses and curses personally. It pains them and causes a lot of distress. It just adds to their karma and they roll in misery again and again. Its because they cannot generate the love and compassion that they need to generate towards these abusers. They do not know how to! They have not developed in the technique of letting go!
So, instead what they should do is seek psychological therapy, talk frankly to someone who cares about them and who might help them find a solution. Also, they should start to look for a compassionate guru and learn meditation. Learn the art of making their minds strong, the art of letting go and finding peace within themselves. Learn to attract loving and compassionate people in their lives and avoid people who cause suffering of others.
And eventually, when they themselves become a realized being, they should teach the same thing to whoever comes their path. Because suffering does not get rid of your bad karma. Generating love and compassion towards yourself and others gets rid of your bad karma.
May all beings be happy, be peaceful, be joyful! May all beings find love!
