If they made the doom gauntlets an item you can find in a chest, the challenge would be much easier since you wouldn’t have to go through the headache of killing doom bot and stealing his gauntlets and some player jumping out of no where and killing you, but instead they have to make this much harder than it should be.

@@reeshopkins366 I had that problem too but then I started going to that watermill house next to that doom crater, got some guns, went over to castle doom, and eliminated a guy running out of the castle with the gauntles, and got the challenge done from there. I was like “aww you brought the gauntlets to me, you didn’t have to do that”.
Helpful: if you can’t get a win in Fortnite then you can actually play team rumble and as long as you don’t quit the game, then you can instantly get that quest completed without putting any effort into the match. Hope this helps 👍
A better trick to get the Black Panther claws and Cap's shield from an eliminated player is to do it with a squadmate. Have them drop the item once their reboot card spawns.
for anybody that hasn't done them team rumble is really good for the Doom quests because anybody on your team opening a rare chest counts for that and continually respawning gives you more chances to do stuff like hitting from beyond 44 meters
i somehow competed the entire first page and won a match all in one round 😭 feeling blessed i didn’t have to grind these challenges as long as i thought i needed to
Strategy to get doom gloves: land at the courtyard loot up get doom chest for good loot then rotate over to the castle( most people would of left or storm would have come by then) then kill doom every time I’ve done those simple but exact steps I’ve got the mythic
Bot lobbies help with every challenge except picking up panther claws/cap shield. Bots dont normally pick up superhero items (I have seen a bot with war machines gauntlets once but i couldnt replicate it)

Also bot lobbies dont count towards FN tracker so dont think itll boost your k/d or w/l ratio lol
It might work if you down the bot, drop your hero item and then they might pick it up. Once they do just finish them off. I had that happen once last season with a quest similar to this one, so it's worth a try
I did that Doom's Gauntlet challenge by taking the gauntlets but purposely leaving the medaillion in the storm so I wouldn't be tracked. I didn't think it would work but nope, it was perfect.

I remember in the first Marvel Season (Chapter 2 Season 4) in order to unlock Doctor Doom's emote you had to win a match!!! It took me so long to get it. I am happy you only have to place top 2 for this quest.

This would’ve been for part one, but it’s a tip for people still stuck on it if you stand on top of a torch or anything that has fire not even a campfire, you can do the challenge easily
Right behind the throne that Doom sits on is a Doom chest. I found that if you get in there quickly and loot that chest, you may be able to kill him before everyone else shows up to the party. If you lay back then you have to clear everyone out while Doom is blasting you and if you happen to get the gauntlets then you have to keep fighting to keep them.
I’ve only seen Doom’s gauntlets 2 times this entire season… both being used by another player! I’ve never picked them up yet. I really hope this doesn’t block many of us from completing this mini pass. 😱

Epic have made "hitting players with doctor doom's arcane gauntlets" far too difficult, tedious, time consuming and boring. If "great teams work together" , why hasn't Epic allowed Squad members to help weak players and those with serious disabilities? Maybe the gaming geniuses at Epic ae having a good laugh at their expense.
I do TR first for the easier quests on secret skins tho I'm surprised Epic allowed the "come in 1st or 2nd" quest to be completed in TR since those don't normally count in TR for weeklies or story quests. Honestly and surprisingly the hardest challenge for me is finding someone with the shield or claws. Took me 7 games to see my first shield and he jetpacked away just before I got killed from behind. Haven't seen any since then.

Am struggling with the gauntlets and eliminating players at certain landmarks ☹️ wonder if they’ll make the doom gauntlets a little more readily available later on? I somehow earned my first victory royale in the season today without even trying and completed the challenge lmao. Lucky lobby full of bots and mid players. I didn't even get to execute my cheese plan that I would recommend to others to complete it. Hide in bushes or anything else and wait until there's only one guy left.

I was able to get the gauntlets and get a victory in the same match. I feel a little bad I swooped in and grabbed the gauntlets after someone else killed Doombot and the used them to eliminate that person, my hands were shaking after that. I then kept those things all match and got a victory. I got very lucky too it was my second match of the day and I completed 5 of 6 from the first page in my first match.

I found out that when you capture Isle of Doom and turn into Doom, it counts towards the Arcane Gauntlets challenge
