Entertaining match. I see you have been matching up better with this opponent lately!!
The turning point of this game was you taking his unrevealed major with your general because you forced a trade with his general. While this was an incredible play in the game, it was also extremely risky and probably one I would steer away from in future games against higher rated players.
That major was unknown which means that piece could have been as low as a scout. I say this was a huge risk because worst case scenario had that been a scout, that piece was triple guarded when you hit it. If the Marshall had been there to recapture, that could have been devastating.
Here’s a tip for you when you are probing for information. If a piece in the opponent’s army is completely exposed in that it could be scouted at any point from your army, most of the time the piece exposing itself is weak because the idea is to get you to waste scouts. More skilled players will never allow you to scout a supreme piece so easily. Keep that in mind.
The other part of your game that needs work is your end game. This is typically the phase of the game where both marsh and gen on both sides are off the board. When his captain was revealed by your spy which was an excellent play, you needed to trap that captain immediately with your majors. Keeping that captain alive and chasing other pieces could have really gone south for you. Your lieutenant on B2 that you moved could have been captured by your opponent’s captain. Fortunately for you, I think he forgot that piece moved because he never attacked it when he was in square B3. In retrospect, it would have been better to move that lieutenant next to your major so that he wouldn’t be able to capture it because if he hit your lieutenant he would lose his captain in return. The other negative with leaving your lieutenant there, if your opponent was truly desperate, he would have hit that piece most likely because he would have resorted to lotto mode eventually.
Good stuff though my friend. Keep up the good work!!

Thanks for viewing and analysing. Yeah that Major was lucky. I won't do that to anyone I don't know. I try to apply the "clinical" approach in public matches. Thanks for the tips about the scouts. Some players I meet in public lately come rushing in with their general alot. Try to know that at time. Alot of damage can be done if they lotto. That's why I thinking of spreading bombs more. But u never know which kind opponent you have. That makes it fun. Good tip about saving scouts! I will try this in my next match! Have a great weekend Discostick! I'll try out strategus soon. Probably get my ass kicked there😂😂😂
