well it was kind of obvious seeing how they are porting everything in disorder to Switch (Doubt Disgaea Infinite or Prinny games will come but still) Most likely they are remastering 2 and 3 like 1 and that's why they are not following an order.
don't forget to add Complete at the end of each number

I wish this was in the direct rather than them shadow dropping it but this is still the highlight of e3 for me alongside FF8 and DQ8 Protagonist in Smash. I LOVE 4 so much, bless
Finally, someone who was excited for the Dragon Quest stuff in smash-
I was more excited for Banjo. I’ve never really played a Dragon Quest game, but unlike most of the toxic smash community, I am aware of the series’ importance and the Dragon Quest Heroes seem cool. (Looks like a fun version of Robin)

I’m going to start with the new one coming to the switch and then play some of the other ones. I couldn’t really get into RPGs back then, but Persona 5 and some of the FF games got me into the RPG zone. Can’t wait to try the most iconic RPG series
@@peppinoandweskerfriendsfor3450 I've played most, but DQ8 was one of the first games I ever played so it has a special place for me. Seeing he was an alt made me freak out lmao. The reactions at first were pretty negative though today people have been more happy for Japan, which is really nice!

@@flunknuts6260 1 and 5 are probably the best intros to the series if you want to try them. 5 is the most stream line. While 1 is, well 1. Idk how else to put it, luckily for you both of those two games are on switch, so ask around some more. Just know they are all super over the top.
Only reason I wont say 4 to start with is because of a little thing about how you get and learn skills in it. You kinda have to jump through a few hoops. At least for the main characters.

@@epikhigh97 Your right, but I've already been asking NIS and have been loyal to them since Disgaea one. My hope is if enough money goes their way, they'll justify releasing more games on the switch.
Also on the vita which is a waaaay cheaper alternative. Or atleast mine was 120€. But yeah switch version

@@Flamelance_Accendo a year and still waiting, maybe once 6 makes them a bit of money they’ll upgrade the older games with 3D aswell. Which I’ll kinda be disappointed in but atleast they got a port even if it is in 3D.
@@powerrangerblue8566 I doubt they'll throw those in 3D. Because D2 and the other Disgaeas are already technically made. So they just gotta port it as well as upscale some of them.
I enjoyed Disgaea 1. I loved Disgaea 5. Time to play Disgaea 4.
I heard 4 is one of the greatest. Just stay away from 3, I played it and it was kinda boring, you can play it if you wanna try it. It's not a bad game, just the weakest one. I think maybe it had to do that it was my first disgaea game, but IDK.
4 is definitely up there, it probably also has the best character-arcs out of all of them

@@bretginn1419 so I think the list goes like this. 4 is the best one, 5 is the best in mecanics, 1 is good and 2 you need to play 1 to understand it and is good too, 3 is ok. I think is something like that. 3 kinda tried new things and maybe that's why it flopped. It was a new story while 1 and 2 were one story, so they had to start over instead of continuing a story. The characters are good, but the story is kinda boring or atleast it was were I left.

@@boiz9552 Twilight Princess and Wind Waker are the pinnacle of Zelda games, along with Ocarina or Time and Breath of the Wild. They released an HD version for both games on the Wii U, which sucks, since a ton of people (like me) skipped out on the Wii U. They should port all three games to the Switch, or release an HD bundle for the three games. Skyward Sword was fun, but nowhere near the caliber of Twilight Princess or Wind Waker.

Pretty sure my Switch is just a Disgaea machine at this point. D1, 5C, and now 4C+? Goodness gravy... Really hoping D2 and Disgaea 2 also make the Switch at some point...
I know right? Up until now, the Vita was my one stop for Disgaea 1-4. Really hoping 2 & 3 make appearances on the switch.
I own all the games on every port at this point lol they can take my money. Hope D6 comes out in 2020 though
I just got into the series when 1 complete came out and fell in love with it so the more that release on the switch the better

@@mattskirble6845 if you have a laptop you can get 2 on steam, or play the original 1 on steam aswell. They’re both dirt cheap. Beware the item world in 1 tho some are legitimately impossible to beat.

This & Dragon Quest 11 are Day 1 pickups for me.

@@alvinvalentino5797 Not to mention, Laharl and Prinny would represent Disgaea the most IMO. Since Laharl is the protagonist of the first game and also the most popular one (i think) and Prinnies are NIS' mascot, so that would make sense too. Though if it was Prinny, i think it'd be cool if some alternate skins were other characters as Prinnies (Prinny Laharl, Prinny Asagi, Prinny Kurtis, Big Sis Prinny,etc)

The rpg line up on switch is ridiculous. Just since yesterday disgaea 4, Witcher 3, the Mana trilogy + a remake, the last remnant, romancing saga 3 and Scarlet Grace, final fantasy 8 and the dark crystal srpg were all confirmed

Disgaea was one of Sony's greatest exclusive franchises for a decade. It was always better suited towards a Nintendo audience here in the west where Sony's marketing focus has been American games. Needless to say, I'm more than ecstatic that the Switch is getting a solid Disgaea collection. Buying a physical copy of every one! Possibly one of the last hidden gems left in modern gaming. Sony gamers don't really know about it, weeaboos don't seem to know about it, tactic gamers don't seem to know about it, game collectors don't know about it, 2D gamers don't know about it. It's managed to evade nearly everyone who would love it. As a fan of game design, I'm a huge fan of Disgaea! Keep em' coming!

I havent played Disgaea 4 only the Disgaea 4 DLC missions in Disgaea 5, so i have a question. Is Valvotorez as big of a Prinny Instructuor in D4 as he is in D5?

@@isaiahdaniels5643 D3 and D4 are on Vita. DD2 stuck on Ps3. I only own nintendo consoles. I dont want and dont have the extra money to buy any of these so i hope they port. I cant get vita or ps3 emulator running on my pc either.
If they port 3 and D2 onto Steam we’ll have them all on Steam aside from 6 since that’s a switch exclusive, I’m glad Disgaea left the PlayStation tho, it’s a perfect fit for Nintendo. It’s ok for PC aswell tho.
