The chiefs have 3 big safety/CB hybrids. CB is the one position we could lose talent, Chenal will be able to step up and we kept Tranquill & signed the #1 FA. Every season Brown has been healthy, he was a 1k receiver.

Thanks for the comment! We will see how the defense plays out. My complaint was that they didn't have to lose the CB talent because they had the cap space to keep Sneed. Chenal and Tranquill should fill in the LB gaps. As far as Marquise Brown, he played in all 16 games in 2020 and only had 769 yards. His lone 1000-yard season was in 2021 with 1008 yards when he played in 16 of 17 games. Other than that year he hasn't come close to 1,000 yards, with 769 yards being his highest.

@@thetracytakeThe Chiefs did not have to cap space to keep Sneed. They have players coming up this year that they need to pay. Trent McDuffie, Creed Humphrie, Trey Smith, Nick Bolton to name a few. The Chiefs are not just going to let talent walk out of the door for no reason. Great effort on the post however. I suggest you look into the salary cap before you question why obvious moves needed to be made. We resigned Chris Jones and let Sneed walk so we could sign McDuffie this offseason. Unfortunately in a salary capped world the way you build a destiny is knowing when you need to make the tough choices. Just like Tyreek, Sneed was another business decision that had to be made. Also the Chiefs are not looking for a Tyreek Hill replacement. The need to be able to stretch the field as they were unable to do that last year without any consistency. I know it's tough to talk about every team as you wouldn't know them as well as the teams you follow. Once again I appreciate the effort but you can tell you don't follow the team very closely.
