(Only for Private Candidates)
(Private students have to submit the examination form on the CBSE portal personally within schedule)
Subject:- Online submission of forms by Private Candidates of Classes X & XII, 2024 Supplementary Examination for -
(A) Compartment (1st chance)
(B) Compartment (3rd chance)
(C)
Improvement of Performance upto 02 subjects in class X (subject)
to the condition of valid combination of subjects as per date sheet)
and 01 subject in class XII (Only for private candidates passed in
2024 Main exams and in the subjects whose list is enclosed in
Annexure-5)
(D) Regular students of 2024 placed in Compartment category (1 chance) can apply only through their respective schools. Their school has to submit online LOC (List of Candidates). A separate circular for Regular candidates has also been issued and available at the web-link www.cbse.gov.i...
In the light of the recommendations made in NEP-2020, nomenclature of the Compartment examinations has been changed to Supplementary examinations vide Notification no. CBSE/COORD/EC-Dec-2022/ITEM-3.08/2023/e-71926 dated 10 March 2023.
As the Board has declared the results of both class X & class XII, the process for submission of LOC for Supplementary Examination for Class X and Class XII, for session 2023-24 shall start w.e.f. 31.05.2024 (Friday). The submission of applications for appearing in Supplementary Examination 2023 is to be done through the link given on CBSE Website cbse.nic.in/newsite/index.html.

Only those private students who submit the online application form alongwith the prescribed fees shall be allowed to appear for Supplementary Examinations, 2024. The following important information may be read and understood carefully:-
(1) Before filling the application form-
(a) Students who have appeared for the Board's Examinations as regular students in the session 2022-23 or as private students in the session 2023-24 and whose result has been declared as "Compartment' should apply through online mode.
(b) No request for an extension of the date due to any reason accepting any candidature after last date is over will be considered.
(2) The private students shall submit application forms for Supplementary Examinations-2024 as per the conditions of eligibility given in Annexure-1.
(3) In case of any difficulty/queries regarding online submission, the IT Branch of the concerned Regional Offices can be contacted for clarification/assistance. The contact details of the regional offices are available on the link www.cbse.gov.i...
(4) Consolidated mark sheet will be issued only to the students whose result was declared COMPARTMENT in Board's Examinations 2024 and who will be declared as Pass in Supplementary Examinations 2024.
(5) The Supplementary Examinations-2024 will be conducted based on the
Syllabus prescribed for the Board examinations for session 2023-24, which is available on the CBSE website at the link cbseacademic.n... 2024.html.
6) The Improvement of Performance in upto 02 subjects in class X (subject to
( the condition of valid combination of subjects as per date sheet) and 01 subject in class XII (Only for private candidates passed in 2024 Main exams and in the subjects whose list is enclosed in Annexure-5 (A) & 5 (B)). Candidates of Class X who wish to appear for improvement will opt their subjects only as per datesheet.
(7) The application forms may be filled as per the current status of the result of the candidates.

Sir, I appeared for the CBSE Class 12 examination in 2023 and successfully passed in all five subjects. However, I received an RT in one subject, Mathematics which replaced Physical Education in additional subjects . I subsequently appeared for the compartment test in July but unfortunately did not clear it and goy 'XXXX' as in Improvement .
I am seeking guidance on the steps I need to take to clear my Mathematics RT. Could you please provide me with information on the next available opportunity for re-examination and any specific procedures I need to follow?

Sir, I passed 12th in 2023 but Due to just passing marks in main subjects, appeared in this year March Improvement Exam For All Subjects.
Previous year I passed in Maths but this year's there's A RT. I am Targetting such courses where 75% is mandatory. Checked on the website but record not found dikha rha hai har attempt pe. I want to aplear in Maths subject in July, Could you please resolve it.

Sir 2023 mein 12th regular exam 6 subjects ke saath diya tha result essential repeat tha, aur 2024 mein 2 subjects mein compartment laga hai math aur chemistry. Usme se chemistry ko additional ne replace Kiya hai aur RT likha hai, apply ke time pe (math or chemistry) kisi ek ko choose karne ko Aa raha hai toh kya karen? Pls suggest
