- We are pleased to have with us, the prodigal violinist Sri Sumanth Manjunath and the multi-talented flautist Sri Hrishikesh Majumdar for a jugalbandi.
Sri Sumanth Manjunath hails from a family of eminent musicians. He is one of the most sought-after young violinists in Indian Classical Music today.
Sri Hrishikesh Majumdar represents the maihar gharana binkaari style like his father. Apart from classical music, he has also composed music for many new age music projects.
On the mridangam is Sri. Jayachandra Rao, a well-known classical musician specializing in percussion and known for his versatility and creativity. He performs extensively with leading musicians in India and abroad.
On the Ghatam, is Vidwan Vazhapally R. Krishnakumar, an A-Grade artist of All India Radio. He has won many accolades over the course of his long career and is a highly sought-after accompanist to many eminent vocalists and instrumentalists.
On the table is Sri Rajendra Nakod, also an A-Grade artist of All India Radio. He has carved a niche for himself with his aesthetic approach and he frequently accompanies eminent artists.
