This is sensational! The best imaginable ode to Wrexham. Elliot is full of heart, a man who chose devotion to a community over prestige with any run-of-the-mill Championship club. What a man! What a player! What an interview!
As an American, who usually does not understand most of the side comments from your side of the pond, let me just say this was by far the greatest interview I have ever seen on both sides of the pond. I don’t know if it was just Elliott Lee, or if it was the interviewer, or if it was both, but I could watch this type of interview several times over. This interviewer and his male humor was spot on with me. I would love to spend a week hanging out with either one of these guys and learning the soccer culture from that side of the pond from them. Well done by both of you. Could you please do more interviews like this from Tottenham and Liverpool and one on Mullins. Thank you so much!
What a great interview! Thank You! I love Elliott Lee. Such a hard worker who never gives up. Such an asset to the club, both on and off the pitch. Just a lovely human being. Much Love and Hugs from Canada!
The way Elliot answers that final question sums up how mature and realistic a man he's become. Contentment isn't about how high in the game you get, it's about how much you get _back_ from the game. Elliot, Mulls & Co will be revered around here for YEARS to come. Bobby Shinton - a Wxm icon from the 70s - often said to his mates that he never has to buy a pint whenever he's back in Town...they didn't _really_ believe him. A couple of years back, he brought some with him to Town for a re-visit. They were gobsmacked when - guess what....they never put their hands in their pockets all weekend! Wrexham is, and always HAS been....a football-mad Town. Onwards & upwards... #COYR 💪
I always enjoy your interviews very much. Your research is excellent. It’s definitely not superficial which makes it much more interesting. I’ve never been much of a sports fan. My mom loved baseball as did my grandad. No one dared to phone my mom during the World Series. My aunt either. The story of Wrexham, the club, the players and the city of Wrexham is a gripping story which draws you in and grabs hold of you. Thanks for great interviews with the players from Vancouver Canada. ❤
When Wrexham return to the territory where they belong, and beyond, Elliot Lee will have played an immeasurable part in that journey. He is a living legend.
Great interviewer. Best I've seen. Used to go and see Wrexham as a kid. Watching them now is as good as watching top tier football. Football is about entertainment, and i get as much out of watching players like Lee and Mullin etc as I do the so called elite ones.
From the outside Wrexham, from the owners, to the management, to the players, and even the fans that make the Doc, they all seem like salt of the earth people. You see how Phil Parkinson cares for his players. How he wants good people to be in his squad. You then see these people like Elliot, Ollie, Paul, all giving their heart for the club. They see what it means to the supporters and the town and the fans then give their support back to the club. Then you see the owners trying to give back to the town. It's a wonderful circle that needs each part to play their roll, and the parts do. Screw the haters. Up with Wrexham.
Wow what a brilliant interview well done both. Wrexham people just love the scousers brilliant humour, brilliant people. Elliot as the Welsh say your a cwtch ( a warm hug) we all love you mate for what you’ve done for us at Wrexham… they say the eyes are a mirror to the soul what a beautiful soul and a real man. Keep your head up and keep smiling an inspiration to us all. As they say good things come in small packages 😂😂 Well done
Hey Elliot, You rock Man !! On the pitch - Remember to be a Goldfish 🐠 You seem be a rock solid dude. Teams are out to get you but more love from Wrexham FC Fans !! 👏
Im SO happy to see that the players and people who are related to the Wrexham family are really happy.

Thank you, Rog, for this marvelous interview with Elliott Lee. He is one of my favorite Wrexham players.

I had really enjoyed watching Elliot playing for Wrexham. He seems a lovely guy with it.
Elliot is the heart of the team and doesnt get enough coverage on the documentary
I love Elliott Lee. I got the impression he didn't want much coverage. Maybe next season we will see more of him because he is sticking around.
Rog brings out the best in his interviewees. Incredible questions, personable, and elegant.
Love, love, love this guy! Great footballer and great person.
Love this!! Elliot is such a great guy. Great interview!!!

What a lovely bloke! Such genuine gratitude for his team and so humble , quite opposite to the way he chases the ball on the pitch
My favorite Wrexham player! Great, genuine guy. The kind of lad I'd enjoy having a pint with after a match. Thanks for the interview.
