By the Way; I am transfixed by this collection because of the total 'Grunge meets Glamour' appeal. Everything about this show says 'I give Zero F*cks what anyone thinks of me or who my friends are.' Say what you want, but Olivier Rousteing has shown tremendous growth over the past 6 years as Creative Director of Balmain. No one should expect Olivier Rousteing to design clothes like his predecessor Christophe Decarnin because they are two different people, not the same person. You can feel from the exuberance of the collection that Olivier pours his heart and soul into designing these clothes. If you look at the annual sales revenue of Balmain their brand continues to gain in popularity and prosperity (Money Talks, Bullsh*t Walks).

Please tell me I'm mistaken, but did I just see Anna Wintour (Editor and Chief of American Vogue since 1988) get up immediately after the show and walk away rather than going backstage like everyone else in the audience? I hope that Anna was not trying to throw shade or rebel against Olivier Rousteing's vision.
She does that, because, before the show starts, she goes backstage to talk to the designer, congratulate them, learn what the collection is about, etc.
some of these pieces are great individually but overall my least favorite collection from Balmain. it was very 1 tome and many many pieces were very repetitive
