Even thou it is a hydrolic brake it still has a load cell. P2000"s on my rig. Good video... Been sim racing since 1995 here. well before iRacing. Papyrus early iRacing.
Simagic actually does it different with there hydraulics. They are still load cells believe it or not. Also 769 for 15nm isn't really more then other competitors. Heck the 15nm dd+ with fanatec is 999 lol. If it didn't have ps5 capabilities it would probably be like 800. So simagic is right on the money compared to others. Asetek and simucube both cost more even for there offerings. But I will say right now you can get the simagic ultimate for 809 during this black friday week. You can get the asetek invicta for 1k. So both on great sales.
With proper settings I don't have problem with VR. If you have a lot of cars... yes sometimes I can experience drops but it's not a problem (1-2 times per lap). You can limit visible cars. I am fine with 3090Ti and I had 4090. On 4090 there is no problem. So I would say VR is top tier simracing and you need a pc for 3000 euros. But i would not say there is no way to make it super smooth while competetive races. I see different problem. VR is exhausting and uncomortable. Like in helmet. It's hard to drive with sweat on eyes. Your monitor seems to be a sweet spot.

Thanks for the video. Working my way toward everything on this list. My Rig Metal Plus rig is on it's way as I write this.
