- There is always an expectation of a wait when checking into a hotel. Standing in line for hours after traveling, with luggage, at 8 pm on your first night in Las Vegas is not a great look. This is the exact scenario where managers and supervisors should be greating guests, handing out water, welcoming them and doing what they can with available resources to expedite service. I have the luxury of being able to go home and try another day, but the majority of visitors will stand in that line for hours. We had a horrible time checking in , everything that was just said was 100% true
I stayed there about 5 yrs ago, and swore never to go back. They gave me a dirty room, took 2 hrs in line to get a cleaned one, and the girl made it seem like the dirty room was my fault because I booked through Priceline and not them? Huh? Buffet was terrible, and the whole place had a depressing, gloomy vibe to it.

Management should be very concerned, guests waiting in line just to check in their casino hotel are not on the casino floor gambling.

The part that I found the most concerning was that there were three people to check in zero VIPS and two of them couldn’t take the initiative to go check in other guests until they were needed? I’d fire them all.

Caesars is falling apart in every department
Yep. Caesars Atlantic City and Vegas is a joke. In AC we stay at the Harrah's and it's so much nicer and in Vegas at the Linq. This is after a ton of trial and error, but you're right on the whole Caesars is just looking to get bought up so the execs can golden parachute out of destroying a once great chain.
Great review. It amazes me how ignorant and carefree the staff are to simply not give a f*ck. It’s a team effort. You’re in the service industry so your focus should always be on the guests. I’ve never stayed there and never will after that review. Keep the reviews coming!
They dgaf about regular guests. Diamond and above is what makes the hotel money on the casino floor. When I'm at the Golden Nugget as a true gambler I don't want to wait so I will go to hosting and check in or VIP.
It is not that they don't care about their guests. They cannot leave their post and just go start another job. B**** about management not the hourly wage employees. That's not how it works in any business. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

@@augustbrown9711 it’s not blame. I agree that management should have been brought in, but it’s the responsibility of the staff to try and provide solutions. Maybe they could have got management in, rather than dismissing.
Worst place we ever stayed in Las Vegas. Stood in line for over 2 hours listening to the Security alarm go off with their flashing lights. With ZERO sense of urgency from the 2 staff workers who barely looked up from their computers. The customer service was very lack luster. Then we had no hot water and the room wifi was a headache all on its own. We will never stay here again. Waste of money. **I was there in February
This is nothing recent either. I had a similar experience 5 yr ago.
I got treated like shizznit in there too in the casino....my business just goes elsewhere.
Caesar’s properties are a 0 on check-in throughout the strip. It’s very disappointing.
There great if your diamond or above, never more then a few mins

Think you already gave a good review, glad I did not book that hotel. I really want to but my husband wants something else, and since I chose the destination he chooses the hotel.
Happened to me twice, so i gave up on staying there. Horseshoe is much better in this regard
Stayed at Bally's (Horseshoe) 4yrs ago. Excellent service by Jovanna (Front desk agent). Great stay, no issues at all, great value🎉
Used to LOVE PARIS buffet....its been awhile so no idea what their buffet is like now. For desert I would get a blueberry crepe with apricot sauce, almonds and whipped cream. Delish!
They didn't bring back their buffet after Covid unfortunately. They replaced it with a food court thing.

Would not recommend even though it's a four-star hotel somehow it feels like a hotel room from the 90s. How do you not have a flat screen TVs in 2024? I used to like the buffet but it really went downhill unfortunately.

I never use the self check in kios again. I used one time n paid early check in fee n only it asked me to wait. N see if there'd be room available. What? N I went to the clerk demanded a room . I said I didn't pat early check in fee to wait. I paid bc I needed a room to rest. Give me a room. She did

I always stay at Paris hotel and never have any issues. I was there in December, January and just this month. Love this hotel and everyone that works there. From the front desk always being accommodating to individuals that keep the casino floor clean cheering me on when I’m in a slot bonus.

Every time I think MGM is too corporate, I'm reminded of how much further they need to go to meet up with Caesars 🙄
I've stayed at Paris about a dozen times over the past 4 years. I've never had a problem but then again i can't speak for the front desk. I've always used the Diamond check in and never had to wait. Caesars treats diamond and above pretty good. Free parking, no resort fees, free rooms and upgrades, $100 dinner every year, and 4 free drinks per day.

@mikeburke3010 diamond isn't very hard to obtain. 1 day on a tier multiplier day and anyone can get it.
Yeah but it's people who have to gamble My husband refuses to sign up for any of those programs because he does not believe in gambling at all so we can't get in it on any of those. I don't have a problem with throwing a few dollars away as long as I'm willing to flush it down the toilet what's the difference if I wasted on a $20 lipstick or a $20 pull on the machine but no way my husband is totally anti-gambling.
Interesting, I had a completely different experience. I was there earlier this week and was able to check in at the kiosk with no issues. Staff was also available to answer questions that I had

I have done many bed bug reports there, vip check in sucks ass, thoes machines have never worked correctly- ever...upper management sucks. Front desk employees are union i believe and vip check in are not...

Within the past decade, no matter how much of a high roller you used to be in the past, the strip has lost huge $$$, some are being picked up in Vegas for a real high roller experience in Macao and without a doubt, Macao understands good, expedited services, Las Vegas Strip became the wait and wait for ever until someone gives half a f”ck about you!!! Lol! I’m not waiting nowhere!
My suite was literally falling apart while we stayed . I try my best to stay at a different hotel on the strip everytime i go. But there are a couple i would stay at again. But paris is not one! Now i did stay at the Horseshoe recently a week ago and i would definitely stay there again!
VIP floor is probably only one floor but way more many staff. That’s my experience many years ago when I used to worked for a hotel.
Yes we tried to check in early Said I had to wait till 3:00 came back at 3:10 and it was an hour wait, room was nice clean and tidy service good, they charged me to park my car there. Had fun won't go back,

Horrible check in process at Paris! I have never seen anything like it! Over 2 hour wait the line was wrapped around on the casino floor. Very poor managed!
Stayed in Paris 2 weeks ago. Self checkout worked great and I got upgraded to a room with a pool table and an incredible view of the strip/sphere. Had a GREAT time.
That looks like the Tropicana shop and restaurant area in AC. Similar painted ceilings and designs.
So glad I'm diamond plus with Caesars and platinum with MGM.

this is how some of those jerk casinos get you to spend hundreds of dollars while you're waiting to check in they have slot machines and poker machines right next to the check-in so you sit there waiting in line and there's nothing else to do except for play some slot machines before you even check in you drop 200

It’s such a Karen move to go to the VIP lounge and ask for them to help her out, like it’s called VIP lounge if they were going to help normies than they wouldn’t be VIP workers. I worked in hospitality for 5 years so this one hit close to home. Also that line didn’t look too long, and it shouldn’t take more than 3-5 mins to check someone in unless there is a problem
