Every other launcher works flawlessly. It isn't too hard to figure out. You may need to do the fix again in the future but this at least gets it so you can play the games you paid for.

I swear, if it weren't for them cramming their damn DRM down our throats, I'd have absolutely nothing to do with their POS app. Origin had it's issues, I won't even begin to defend that crappy thing, but why they felt we should have a WORSE version in purple is beyond me. Thanks, I found this but stopped the app before stopping the service. In my case I had to leave the app open and then stop the service/end the task. Thanks a million!
@@CatDaddyGaming I tried fixing it with this EA background service method But whenever i open the EA app the background serviced pop back in my task manager again And if i try to disable background serviced whilst EA app is running the app just shuts down
@@freefallmatter You definitely need the service, you don't want to disable it. You just want to force it to restart. Do you have the app up to date? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

I have tried it all, and hundred other stuffs EA customer experience asked me to do, but still no solution ! I am facing these problems 1. everytime i launch the EA app, and go to library, the game wont load, and i get the message "things are taking little longer than usual, hold tight when we try to solve the problem" 2. and once in a while (maybe once in hundred times) even when i see the game in my library and start downloading, it gets stuck in the "preparing" phase ! Its so frustrating, can anyone help me please ?!
My last resort would be EA customer service but they are all idiots lol does the fix in the video solve the "Taking Longer" issue? At least temporarily? I know the downloading issue is pretty common. Might need to try all the fixes other members are sharing, like let the program run as Admin and what not. May be worth getting another Harddrive and seeing it works on that one. Hard to help without having the issue myself.
The app is unusable for me. A month ago everything was working. Now I can't download or update the game. It always says there is a problem downloading...
Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling. Another suggestion would be create another folder for your downloads to go into. I had a ton of issues with the EA app locating the files originally installed when it was the Origin app. Not 100% what it could be. It's pretty appalling they can release an app in this state when Orign worked fine for the most part.

@@-Rizecek- Have you tried clearing the EA App Cache? Click menu dots in the top left, Help, App Recovery, then Clear Cache. Might wanna pause any downloads that are attempting to download.

Hard for me to try on my end since I don't have the issue and thus can't confirm if something works. Scour forums and videos. Most of it is useless information like reset your router but you may come across something solid in the process. Sorry I could not be of more help.

Hello this question is unrelated to the video but my kotor 2 game on the android has glitch where it's stuck on the main menu idk what the problem is i looked online and found that some people tried using one handed mode however my phone does not have that option so i know this is a lot to ask but is there a solution? Ps: my phone is a redmi 9a and i played Kotor 1 on it and it worked perfectly but this kotor 2 i ran into this glitch
Do you have the restored content mod? I would suggest uninstalling, deleting all files and then reinstalling. Back up your saves if you wanna save them. Not sure what it could be but that is a good place to start.
