Played during Good Friday procession...
So emotional. Gorgeous music played with such sensitivity.
I also recognise this song during the funeral procession of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Stupenda
I d'love ❤
I think this was at the Queen Mother's funeral
Wow, it's such a sad, somber & touching Chopin music & it made me held my cat to my face & cried. (Boohoo). ☹☹😢😢😾😾😿😿
Q' alguien me expliq' × favor: ¿×q' una melodía tan bella nos haga recordar momentos tristes?
Don Ramon's song when believed he was gonna die XD
Chopin was a Pole, not a French
Hi, thank's for your intervention. Let me kindly reply that Chopin's father was French, his mother was Polish. He was born in Poland, but half of his heritage is French of course (and his surname is clearly French). I invite you to pay attention on how I've written his name in the description (both in Polish and French). Anyway the French National Flag means only that this Funeral March is part of the official repertoire of the French Military Bands and, it indeed, have been performed by a French Military Band. Kind regards
But, Chopin considered himself a Pole
@@stanisawbudzisz1801 Nobody said the contrary. Anyway chwała Polska! ;-)
@@stanisawbudzisz1801 A Pole that speaks French, became a French citizen by 1830, and died in the French city of Paris by 1849...
@@theotherohlourdespadua1131 His Funeral March is also the quasi-official Funeral March of France (nothing in France says "state funeral" more than « Marche funèbre »). The fact that Chopin was Polish of course is true, but the march itself is just as French as it is Polish I think.
(His heart was buried in Warsaw whilst the rest of his remains remain in Paris interestingly).
