  • Hello my name is Jody and welcome to sleep hypnosis for pain relief. Please lie down and close your eyes or make yourself as comfortable as you possibly can where ever you are right now. This audio is for sleep so if you are listening to this at bedtime or nap time you have chosen an excellent time to do so. If this is not a convenient time for you to fall asleep, no worries, if you simply relax and listen I am sure you will find something in these words that is useful to you as you learn to manage you own pain easily and naturally. I would recommend you do not listen to this recording if you are driving a car or doing anything that might be dangerous if you fall asleep as many people often do while listening to sleep hypnosis videos. It may also be wise to bring your pain to a doctor's attention if you have not already done so to make sure everything is in order and functioning as well as can be so you can attack this problem on all levels. Soon we will be going on a journey into your own mind and nervous system where you can see or imagine some of the factors within you that come into play when you experience pain and make adjustments where necessary to decrease the sensation of this stimulus and the emotional distress that often accompanies it. As we do this you will be encouraged to relax very deeply. Deep relaxation is a natural and healthy analgesic and as you relax more deeply and drift off into a deep and comfortable sleep...as you become very deeply asleep...you will not be feeling any thing at all while you are resting and rejuvenate yourself...giving your mind and body the rest it needs to heal..so you can awake refreshed and able to cope with, and maybe even enjoy, whatever is going on in your life situation right now......

I am a 23 year old boy with fibromyalgia and my life has been crippled because of it. With no job, I cannot afford any therapies, but Your free youtube hypnosis videos offer a small bit of peace to such a huge basic necessity...Sleep. Ive been quite surprised how your simple youtube videos have made a real and noticable impact on my daily life and activities. Thank you for sharing your gift of healing to the world!

I had a life threatening & debilitating accident three years ago, that kept me in immeasurable amounts of excruciating pain. There was no prescription a doc could give me that could take away the deep emotional and physical turmoil. The only saving grace to my pain management was your hypnotherapy. I feel sorry it has taken me so long to relay this message but I figure better late than never. So: thank you, thank you, thank you. You are a Godsend and your work doesnt go unrecognized.

Thank you so much for this video! I use it every night. When my dad broke his hip, and was screaming in pain, this helped him when the drugs failed. And tonight, one of my residents was in a lot of pain from her shoulder. I took my phone into her room and played this for her. Thirty minutes later she was asleep! You are awesome!

    Jody,
I would like to thank you so much for all the dedicated time you have put in to assist all that have listened to your videos.
I have been listening for about 5 years and you have never failed me.
I have told anyone that will listen about your guided meditation for sleep.
This has been the first time I have been able to write a comment as I’m usually asleep by now. Tonight it was my partner who needed your video.
She has been in excruciating pain tonight and has been tossing and turning. I turned this video on and 6-7 minutes into it, she is now snoring her head off and not in conscious pain.
Thank you thank you thank you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I first listened to this when I had a killer migraine. It helped, so I listened every night for several days. Then one night I skipped it because I had to work early the next morning. My back hurt terribly that day. That night, I listened to this again. The next day my back was much better. Thank you! This really works!

I woke up in the middle of the night in incredible pain. Sometimes my upper back will hurt so much, the pain wraps around to my chest. I was in tears and nothing was helping and all I wanted was the pain to go away and to go back to sleep. So I played this. It put me right to sleep and when I woke up for work an hour or so later the pain was gone. Added to my favorites now.

Message to Jody: Thank-you so much for all that you do! I have used sleep our hypnosis videos for years and I am using this pain management video while preparing for a baby. I plan to use it as help for early labor. You should consider making some videos specifically to help women relax through the early stages of labor and deal with contractions. I think you would be the perfect guide to help women have positive experiences while preparing for labor and delivery. I haven't seen any when I'm searching, and thought I would mention the idea!

Thank you so much I have been suffering with chronic pain for a year after a car accident left me with spinal injuries and nerve damage. I found out I was pregnant 8 weeks later and to say my pregnancy was riddled with pain and depression is an under statement. I discovered this video about 5 months into the pregnancy and it truly kept me from doing something more drastic to deal with relentless pain and suffering. The baby is now almost 2 months

Hi, doubt you'll ever see this in the sea of all these heartwarming comments about how you have helped people but if you do I just wanted to thank you! I am 16 years old and have been living by myself temporarily and i fortunately do not have any pain that has been caused by any horrific accidents but my heart goes out to those who do. I (being the absolute muppet that I am) managed to burn my hand on the stove pretty bad and though I've managed to get a lot of injuries from being clumsy before including being burnt before, nothing has ever quite hurt like this. I have a pretty high paint tolerance but this me screaming into a blanket in pain even after having my hand in water for two hours. I was determined to handle it by myself so I did but could not sleep which in fact was all I needed to soothe it but this video had me asleep in no time (crazy) honestly a miracle worker going from agony for something looking at now I should have gone to the hospital for, to being sound asleep. I cannot thank you enough. Blessed be!

I wish i did not have to go through this pain everyday from moring till night. No kidding. I suffer with really bad ibs and if i try and eat something anything.!!!! Then my bowel just go's into really bad spasm and can last for hours. Im taking mabeverine for it but it still go's into spasm bad. Tried everything. Im hospitalised with this problem because i cant eat because of the pain. Im on tramadol daily and been on them for a year now and have to take them every four hours and paracetamol and cyclizine for sickness etc.. i had my gallbladder removed about 12- 13 year ago now and still get the same severe pain even theo my gallbladder has been removed. Its crazy. My brain thinks its still there and that it could do the job its made to do. But its gone. So my body has to work really hard to keep gping. My liver has to work so hard becase my gallbladder is not there to do the job it should be doing. Anyway cutting along story short these relaxation meditation from jody really do help because its the voice spoken gental and soft. Other meditations voices are some times harsh and not soft spoken . But jody's voice seems to work for me and Michael sealey voice does to. These two help me. The nervous system is a very important thing for us to live with as we all have nervous but some has weaker then others. Its just the way we are as a person. I suffer with high anxiety disorder and panic disorder and depression and agoraphobia and fibromyalgia etc. I have them all. On alot of medication to list. But its time now to listen to jody to get me some sleep as im not sleeping due to all the pain and i have exsteam teeth pain after i lost a tooth up top to right and its a open hole where tooth came out and the pain is severe and putting on pain relief gels to try and ease the pain but its still giving me that much pain that nothing is working. Have not been able to get to a dentist because of the agoraphobia but im going to have to try somehow.

No doctor seems able to definitively say why with 100% certainty why but without medications to dull the nervous system I have horrible belly pain, vomiting and rarely seizures, though of a type that almost insures a vertebral fracture, like the girl in the Exorcist...I'd like to flood any part with warm, soothing endorphins. I forgive my nervous system. It knows not what it does. I think it has something to do with the vagal nerve, temperature regulation, stomach motility, plus I am photosensitive. I have been diagnosed twice in the 90's with coproporphyria at separate, independent hospital teams, one at Duke. Same conclusion at both. Now, an "expert" runs one set of tests and declares I am just fine.
Tell my belly this good news...

I completely empathize with you. It is unfortunate that doctors hardly know a thing about pain management, and that the void they leave is filled with thousands of snake-oil salesmen. Medicine is still in its infancy, and I don't find any solace in the possibility that millions of us will live long lives with nothing but incurable pain. People should have the unquestionable right to end their lives peacefully when medicine has nothing to offer them.

Yes, or dull the pain to tolerability which is asll a loving God would ask. He supplied the nostrums, who supplies the dictates?

I sympathize with you Jeff, there was a time I believed the pain I was in would kill me too. It took 9 doctors and 5 specialists then 8 years and several different trial medication to stabilize my pain. I know it is not an easy process but I want you to know there is hope. Keep pushing those Doctors, make them send you to a pain specialist. You know your own body far better then any doc ever can, you know what you need,

Jody, do you think you could do a video on hyperemesis gravidarum which is severe nausea and vomiting during pregnancy? I can't seem to find any videos on that or even just nausea in general. Thank you for all that you do.

LOVE this mediation! Any chance of getting a longer version? I find myself waking up about 30-40 minutes after it ends in less pain, but needing another "dose" before being able to rid myself of enough pain that I can get back to sleep. Currently I play it in a loop, but that isn't very effective because it means also replaying the introduction which trends to break the trance. If love to have a similar session that is long enough to help get me through more of the night.

i've seen lots of people with a Budlight in their hands, and many of them were in fact NOT actually up for anything. budlight sucks. now if you see someone with a Steel Reserve in their hands...they probably don't have any money to do anything, but they'd be up for it if they did.

Can you do one on headache specificity? Like one that is only 30 minutes? I need one to help with headache and to give me energy to carry one with my day. I get headaches every day almost and If i can get rid of it I can get on with the rest of my day and get my exercise on and get to spend the rest of the day with family after work. It is hard to plan anything like this.

I just discovered that my headaches are self inflicted due to the pain mediation I am taking for the actual headaches I have. Weird, but apparently it's a real thing. So I need to stop taking them immediately which means I have a few weeks of migraines ahead of me....I truly hope this helps to dull the excruciating pain associated with the withdrawal of the medication. If there are any extra things I can do I'm open to suggestions

My pain is stress related. Will this recording help or can you suggest one of yours that will.
It is my lower left back and doesn't hurt every day just now and then.
When it does it's there all day until I go to bed
