    Very nice, and craft fur is so much cheaper than fox or natural furs that it makes the fly a little less painful to lose. All the best and thanks for sharing. What is this fletch site. Never heard of it. Hope I can find it here. Need to know what it is so I can see what department to look in. All the best and thanks for sharing. Sean

      +Sean Mooney plus craft fur moves more in the water...
      Fletch tite I think is for archery, to attach the feathers on the arrow or something like that. Works great for flies cause it's water proof.

      +Mc. Fly Lures where do u get the craft fur

    • @McFlyAngler
      @McFlyAngler  7 років тому

      I bought my craft fur at a local shop (I think they sell online as well) called "fly fishing specialties". I bought it when I lived in northern CA. The shop is located in Sacramento, CA. They had an awesome selection of fly tying supplies and fishing stuff.

    Do you sell your flies?

    • @McFlyAngler
      @McFlyAngler  3 роки тому

      Yes I do. Easy way to buy them is just message me what you want and your email on one of the social media’s like Facebook or Instagram. If you don’t have either, let me know here and we will figure out another way to exchange emails.

    so, its me again your biggest fan. I have bought the UV adhesive twice now Loon brand and it gels up on me both times.. in the bottle. I keep it in a drawer. I can't figure it out.

    • @McFlyAngler
      @McFlyAngler  6 років тому

      I don’t use loon so I can’t say what the issue is with theirs, but occasionally if the resin gets too cold this will gell up a bit. However just get it back to room temperature and it’s good to go!

    • @bobbertheclown2907
      @bobbertheclown2907 6 років тому

      ok, thanks man, I;ll try bringing it in the house. What brand of UV do you use, and why?

    • @McFlyAngler
      @McFlyAngler  6 років тому +1

      I use Solarez. It costs less per oz, and I use a lot of resin so it saves money. Also Solarez has a pretty wide range of resin types and it cures the least tacky of all the other resins I’ve tried.

      Gumming up? Put it in the microwave for a few seconds, seriously.

    I would like to ask ? the hair is from what animal?

    • @McFlyAngler
      @McFlyAngler  7 років тому +2

      +Ondrej Kolacek the craft animal... it's a brightly colored creature that lives in the remote corners of hobby stores and fly tying shops... lol j/k. It's a synthetic (man made) fur type material. Not actually naturally made in nature.

      Another good place to find this craft fur is at the Party City stores here in the USA ....attached to .....hats, wigs , costumes etc. I get it there very cheap all the time in multiple colors .
