Yeah, as others have said, the Flatline ending is in reference to your relationship with her flatlining. You have to actually view her message as soon as she messages you, and keep it in the front the whole time she's messaging you. The indicator of this ending is the tweets that tell you to stop ignoring her. This includes ALL messages, not just her first one she sends in a quarter of the day.

I've never played this game so I don't know if Arin was right but it's kinda funny that Arin saw medication and didn't think "something to help" and instead thought "I don't want her to go get addicted to drugs"
Meds can help her but they also can get out of control really quickly and lead to some of the darker things in the game.
Unless she explicitely said "I need to take medication every x amount of time", it's understandable that he'd not want to use it at all because it feels like it's just taking drugs.
@@resileaf9501 good point. This is a very real issue with some anti-anxiety meds that direct patients to "take as needed." Yes, the safety print out will probably say not to take more than a specific amount but -- not many read that.
@@kneauI used to have Xanax “as needed” for anxiety, but I made an effort to not use it unless I *absolutely* had to, because I didn’t want to get addicted, or even seem like I was.
Ironically, I’m now prescribed Xanax as my sleep medication for my insomnia. So I take it every night because it’s the only med I’ve tried that actually help me sleep 😭
My doctor chose it as a last ditch effort, because I’d tried so many others. I was so surprised that of all things, that’s the one drug that actually works 😂

Interesting that the boys failed to romance Kangel enough so she got bored and broke things off and their first assumption is "well she must have killed herself" sure flatline could mean death in some circumstances but I'm pretty sure in this case it was simply saying the relationship didn't have a pulse

Watching Arin and Dan come so close to unraveling the mystery of KAngel without figuring it out had me genuinely invested.
If you're just waiting for her to say something new, there's a button above the char window to increase the speed of the stream
Flatline is from ignoring her texts too many times. You have to respond to everything until she leaves you on read (this means also responding to her stickers as those count too), then you can do other stuff.
You know, on one hand, it's hilarious watching Arin misinterpret everything, and I get that it's called NEEDY Streamer Overload, but the response system that results in this particular ending is kinda wonky. Doubt it'll be fixed at this point, but oh well
The entire game is confusing because it doesn't really explain anything and arin and dan aren't exactly known for picking these kinds of things up that fast :D

ame's daily messages and the fact that you have to reply to them everytime is the most stressful part of the game imo. i lost to this ending multiple times that i lost count 😪😪
Yeah this game is surprisingly super tough, you have to make sure you are paying enough attention to her as well as managing everything else. Some of the stream ideas can only be achieved if her mental state is at a certain low point, but as long as you are avoiding 80% and up you should be fine.
Best advice I can offer you is to save often and to focus on that romance stat
The Schroedinger's Cat thought experiment is often only half-explained. It's a way of showing how the idea of superposition (when a particle can be in two places at once, and its position can't be determined until it's observed) *doesn't work* in larger scales. I believe the point of the experiment isnt to determine if the cat is actually alive or not, its a thought experiment based around certainty. You cannot say with certainty that the cat is either alive or dead, because you dont know, so you have to assume both are true until you check. Ex, you take a test and are unsure if you passed. You wont know for certain if you passed or not until you receive it back and check. There are two equally plausible possibilities until you eliminate one by observing the other.

The reason being it was believed that a particle would be in a superposition and would collapse only when it was observed. What I love about the Schrödinger's cat scenario, is that he proposed it as a way to denounce quantum mechanics not endorse it.
And it ended up being a useful tool to demonstrate one of its core principles.

These life sim games are always so confusing on the first run and then by the end you end up minmaxing stats by the day to get specific endings

Hell yeah! It’s fun to see people who know content creation play this game, though it’s a little more meta for a streamer than a lets player. Still no complaints!

She's didn't die. Flatline happens when you miss more than three of her DM's (they kept popping up behind the window so you missed them), so she left. Unaliving herself is another ending entirely. Stress wasn't too high either, the game starts going all Doki Doki LC on you when you get the stress too high.
If you guys keep playing this game, remember to check if shes sent you any messages after EVERYTHING you do

What Arin says about pills, that's an opinion. I was medicated through high school for my ADHD, and I chose to go off them. I went on depression meds in my 30's, and they really helped me enjoy life.
If you are feeling bad feelings, there is help available. Whatever kind of help that is for you, I encourage you to seek it out. You deserve happiness, not just survival.

@@bleakautomaton4808 I was talking about at 10:11 when Arin discovers her meds that he never gives her. I dunno what the game intends these as, but to me they read as depression or anxiety meds, "makes things more manageable".
The way Arin phrased it made them seem like they were drugs. I just want people to hear a perspective from someone with chronic depression that will probably be on meds for the rest of their life. Take it from me, being on the right medication greatly increases your standard of living.
