Seems like you were having some of the same issues as I'm having with mine. Primal said there is a sweet spot where is doesn't conk out on the low end, which I have yet to find. They did say they will be selling some modified carbs with low end adjustment. Also if the engine is dying when you hit the brakes it's because of the kill switch and you need to lower the brakes EPA to about 87%-90% which means your probably going to have to adjust the brakes again. Also it doesn't look like you adjusted the shocks from the factory. I have mine about 7 turns out from the top and it seems to give it better handling and jumping.
From what I've seen that Raminator truck isn't all that impressive to me. The size is awesome, but all the videos I've seen, its incredibly slow, and its always dieing. I've seen this video on two channels, I refrained from making any judgements, but I have to agree the driver seems either to be intentionally careless with an 80 lb, 3,000 buck truck, or just not up to the skill level it demands yet. I understand they are designed for jumping and hard use, but at least check your equipment often and your setups before going crazy in a place where people can get in the way. We experienced the same thing in giant scale aircraft when we were flying 40 and 50% scale. enthusiasts often sprung for 8 grand or more on a plane then proceeded to risk themselves and others with there inability to control it. A lot more potential for danger with planes going faster (80-100mph), being larger (50 plus lbs.), and flying in 3 dimensions, but now it seems land based R/C is about to move into similar territory. I see nothing cool about the way he handled the truck. Putting higher gearing and a larger engine in it is a recipe for disaster in the hands of some folks. All you need is 3000 bucks to join and run it at the parking lot, or in the street. I just want to add so it's clear, in R/C flying as many know. The AMA governs flight rules and safety, and requires insurance to fly big scale stuff (and all sizes minus toy grade). Yes there are backyard guys who don't go by the rules, but at least there is a majority exercising discipline, and especially with larger stuff.
Thank you for the great reply, , agree these just aren't toy's any more! These things can easily break lims and possibly ribs, they have to be operated responsibly
I wish I had a UA-cam channel because I have my raminator completely decked out with rear steer that I borrowed from another raminator that got completely totaled out by my buddy because he's an idiot and I hooked up the servo and the front steering on to the rear and it works awesome I also change the gear in a bit so it goes about 5 mi an hour or so faster than stock and this is with the regular stock parts I didn't order anything else to get that
Looks like a passing fad. Motor sounds terrible. Just like the real world. Guys buy these over sized rigs to make up for their lack of manhood in their pants. I'm far from poor, I know st wouldn't drop 3k on something that offers such poor performance.
I wish you luck but you come off as a newbie amateur and there a lot and I mean a lot of RC channels that have millions of subscribers for hundreds of thousands that have great content everyday so you're going to have to do a lot in work hard to make your channel grow but I wish you all the success
I know it's still being tuned and broken in but still, sounds off. I mean, not a 2 stroke expert but idk. Something doesn't seem right. Like a clogged jet, sticky choke, bad sparkplug or something with the oil mix. I only have dirtbike experience so it doesn't apply to RCs much but idk. Just puttin it out there. Ye ol internet expert
@@ddteamrc6461 yah when I switched to synthetic I had to run much higher ratios. I went from 25:1 to closer to 50:1 and the 250 trail guys were running close to 100:1 on that synthetic 2 stroke mix. It's some good stuff, but when I had it mixed 25:1 it would foul spark plugs and smoke like crazy. Smelt good tho

Honestly I say it way fast for what it is, really Are real monster trucks fast, no . And scale wise , it's faster than scale. If people want faster more power to you, lol Thanks for the great comments
that thing is so underpowered it's like watching a monster truck with a go-kart motor it's painful to even watch if I were to pay money for that thing I take it right back It's upsetting that they would take such a badass truck and put such a piece of shit motor in it take that thing apart and put a 5 horsepower Briggs & Stratton motor in it and then it'll be cool
this was a good idea but everything about this truck is just screwed up the suspension I don't know what they had in mind there it's top-heavy doesn't handle good and apparently they don't have the gearing set up right just too darn slow my t Max are my HP I Savage would make this thing look just sick which it is if it's over $400 it's way overpriced it could be a lot of fun if you're just out there goofing off but for serious off-roading or short track racing it doesn't do it for me
True the truck is not for everyone as it weighs 80 lb and is almost the size of a small quad though that does appeal to crowds though as far as being top-heavy I can tell you that is definitely not, the majority of the weight is in the bottom and axles tires exedra and the gearing there are six different gear ratios you can choose from and switch out Gary had the original 50/50 gear ratio and is still just breaking the truck in
I think that's the point of this truck, it's a monster type truck, that ways about 80 or so pounds, not a speed machine and defiantly not a ###### t maxx or savage, I'm not backing this truck up but it's pretty cool for the rc world, not sure if it's worth 3000 but the build quality looks pretty stellar, not knocking the savage it's a great truck still to this day!

Dru Mccabe I was thinking the same thing. Like buy it as a roller and put in like a 980kv like the XMAXX running gear.
There are other videos of this truck where ifts not ran as slow and sounds like it should
It's not the truck, it's the driver
I'm aware of that, its not tuned right as well
That truck is so slooooowwww!!!
Way too slow
Very slow
@@67goodoleboy67 trud💩el speed 😂
I also can't believe you already have UA-cam shirts and merge printed out with only 1,740 subscribers
If you're trying to light it up to the jump I didn't you use your reverse gear in back it up as far as you could
Needs some tweaking, but the 50cc stock engine can be built to scream.
Change the final drive gear or adjust the 2 speed box to shift at 3/4 throttle. The engine has way more grunt than ur showing us.
It doesn't have a 2 speed
Trust me you're not going to break anyting hitting that jump full throttlewhat you do need to keep an eye on are all the little screws and nuts and bolts they will back off and come loose because it vibrates a lot I used a little bit of red thread locker on mine and haven't had the problem since
Nice work sir but i think its under power.
You are correct, but now that TMR builds high performance engines for it , the truck can do back flips!
R/C Off Road Racing.... If it doesn't end up broken, then You ain't doing it right :D
Best comment so far! Seriously made me smile! 👍
I just can't see that kind of cheddar for such a slow truck. Don't get me wrong it's cool, but painfully slow.
The one on the Primal rc channel is anything but slow, see what you think?
Give it time, most wont stay slow for long, I am happy with its speed, 👍
Well that's 12minutes of your life you can't get back
Oh come on, that guy's driving though makes you feel better doesn't it 🤣
The steering on these trucks absolutely suck! Good thing they don't go very fast
I agree with you , he almost ran over his wife! Lol
I got up on the beecher after I saw that
@@ddteamrc6461 might be calling you Peg Leg if you didn't 😂
Just make it electric.
Nice truck, but no power.
Nope!
Great video but man that thing is slow. For that amount of money I expected way more
How slow?
@@ddteamrc6461 very slow.
@@spike-- my on / off switch smoked and fried on the first run

It's also bigger giving it a slower effect. plus it's a heavy RC truck, 80 pounds!
Wtf is a 2speed carb ?
I just couldn't bear to watch the whole video
Thanks for watching!
Has it hit a jump yet,
It hit everything except for the jump! 😂
I would like to see it hit a Brick wall with it
I wish I had a UA-cam channel because I have my raminator completely decked out with rear steer that I borrowed from another raminator that got completely totaled out by my buddy because he's an idiot and I hooked up the servo and the front steering on to the rear and it works awesome I also change the gear in a bit so it goes about 5 mi an hour or so faster than stock and this is with the regular stock parts I didn't order anything else to get that
I want to do the rear steer on mine, I think that would make it completely a legit monster truck
Min 6:40 Thts a hit n run 🧐🧐🧐 😂😂😂
Definitely
Hi
Kk
Thats mee
Hey! 😀
Didn't looked destroyed, just the body had come of the mounts
He's just getting started!
Needs way more power and better gearing
That would be Hot!
Super expensive slug. Big and slow
Do you realise that it is slow for a good reason.its heavy as hell
You sound poor if you think its expensive
Looks like a passing fad. Motor sounds terrible. Just like the real world. Guys buy these over sized rigs to make up for their lack of manhood in their pants. I'm far from poor, I know st wouldn't drop 3k on something that offers such poor performance.
Somebody take the radio from him damn
I wish you luck but you come off as a newbie amateur and there a lot and I mean a lot of RC channels that have millions of subscribers for hundreds of thousands that have great content everyday so you're going to have to do a lot in work hard to make your channel grow but I wish you all the success
I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS BIG ,OVERPRICED, NOISY WASTE OF GD MONEY, ITS SLOW AND NOT FUN AT ALL TOP SPEED IS 10MPH
Keep hating, its 20mph out the box and that's not bad once you see it in person. Videos do this no justice its huge
Gotta turn your needle up.
There isn't enough needle to turn up that motor
It’s cool and all but for that price it’s way too slow
Not too slow to Crash! 😂😂😂
Nice rc monster truck but not worth the price. I’ll stick with my 1:1 scale 4x4 duramax lol. Only cost me 12k, plus I get to ride in it😂😂
needs a polish and put on a shelf.
Running to lean, starving for fuel
I said that I believe that he is running way too much oil 24:1 he needs to go to at least 50:1
@@elijaah81 yes! That is what the engine builder of the performance version said , to run 80:1 all day long, no problems with amsoil Saber
What's up bro hay that motor needs to tuned right its fat on the top and bottom. No disrespect at all
Agreed, way fat! The motor was Still breaking it in
The engine and operator way fat

Wow crazy cool rig dude,, breaking the motor it’s a slow process the truck seems slow but hey guys it’s a 80 pounds rig I thinking for her size it has a nice speed bro but is always a I want more speed someone somewhere right excellent video guys👍🏼👍🏼💯
Honestly I say it way fast for what it is, really Are real monster trucks fast, no . And scale wise , it's faster than scale. If people want faster more power to you, lol Thanks for the great comments
he needs at least a 46 to 50 rcmax to s burst properly his lack of potato
Yes! I am thinking about theRCMAC 80 SUPREME !😆
go see rc spark latest raminator,, he ajusted the carburator high speed needle! , major improovment!!
Its way better with the 80cc engine in it now
that thing is so underpowered it's like watching a monster truck with a go-kart motor it's painful to even watch if I were to pay money for that thing I take it right back It's upsetting that they would take such a badass truck and put such a piece of shit motor in it take that thing apart and put a 5 horsepower Briggs & Stratton motor in it and then it'll be cool
Bad driver. Nice truck. Try it without the blind fold next time
Heck yeah! He needs to go to driving school! 😂😅😂
3 grand no way no efen way
Yeah its not cheap, Thanks for Watching !
Stop being poor
Its big and slow...
Not slow enough to crash repeatedly, lol
What's wrong why is it shutting off?😠👺
Want!
YES!
Damn it's slow
Not if you see it in person. Remember it's almost 100 pounds
@@AM-wi6zo you'r right , it's because of the size
the car is nothing special, very expensive and nothing else. the pilot is probably the worst in the world.
Have him take a driving coarse 😂😂😂😂
this was a good idea but everything about this truck is just screwed up the suspension I don't know what they had in mind there it's top-heavy doesn't handle good and apparently they don't have the gearing set up right just too darn slow my t Max are my HP I Savage would make this thing look just sick which it is if it's over $400 it's way overpriced it could be a lot of fun if you're just out there goofing off but for serious off-roading or short track racing it doesn't do it for me
True the truck is not for everyone as it weighs 80 lb and is almost the size of a small quad though that does appeal to crowds though as far as being top-heavy I can tell you that is definitely not, the majority of the weight is in the bottom and axles tires exedra and the gearing there are six different gear ratios you can choose from and switch out Gary had the original 50/50 gear ratio and is still just breaking the truck in
I think that's the point of this truck, it's a monster type truck, that ways about 80 or so pounds, not a speed machine and defiantly not a ###### t maxx or savage, I'm not backing this truck up but it's pretty cool for the rc world, not sure if it's worth 3000 but the build quality looks pretty stellar, not knocking the savage it's a great truck still to this day!
