  • Charles "Bud" Southall began his career at NASA Langley in 1961 as an electrician after graduating from the Apprentice School. In the mid 60's he worked at the Lunar Landing Facility on the flight controls and programming the computers for the lunar lander. Later in his career he developed the first set of solid state controls for the 8-Ft High Temperature Tunnel and the boundary layer system controls for the 16-Ft Transonic Tunnel. Prior to retiring in 1998, he was the Facilities Systems Support Division Chief.

      I'd put money on it that he's more 'intersting' than you.
