Hi Sheila, I live in South Africa, in the Eastern Cape in a city called Port Elizabeth. My name is Beverley Fouché, I am 70 years old. I just love all your video's. Please keep going on with them. I have knitted 2 blankets of yours and enjoyed knitting them. Regards Beverley oh everyone calls Bev.
Hiya Sheila luv nice to see you love all the colours your working with , your turning out a lot of the small cardigans and baby ones all beautifully made , been a lovely sunny day but very cold down here no more snow since Wednesday night but plenty of ice , now I’m old and have health probs and can’t walk to good , I dare not risk driving if it snowing or I would be stranded . But even if your fit it’s not worth getting stuck or risking an accident , so save your £18 at home winnings 😂 and stay safe just think of how much knitting you can get done if not at bingo 😁 bye Jean 💕💕😘
I really like that coral. You're coming along with that beautiful pink baby cardigan. She and her family will cherish it. It's best to stay safe and warm.
Great idea for ur jumper I knitted the Cornwallis jumper it was striped to bust then another colour in garter stitch it was lovely mine is grey and white and lime green top in garter nice for summer
A wonderful episode to watch! It's as if we are all sitting with you having a knit and chat time on these cold wintery days Sheil! With a cup of tea beside us and knitting in hand it's great to hear your stories and your expertise on knitting patterns and choosing the various colours of wool! Thanks again!
Another enjoyable coffee morning, I would love a PDF pattern for the baby pink cardigan if you do one in the future. Keep warm and safe. Jayne from Sheffield. X
Love that colour Sheila. I think you are right not to drive tonight. It was snowing here on Teesside this afternoon, and it was quite heavy. It’s stopped now, but I notice in my back garden that the path is really slippery
Hello Sheila, Just found your channel and I love your content.. Can you, or anyone please help me with tubular bind off on a v neck cardigan. I just don't see how you can make the yarn that long! Please help, thank you!
@@AnneD3 Can't 100% sure but think it requires you to transfer stitches from straight needles onto circulars then knit in rib, in the round. Could try extending your search on UA-cam specific to 'tubular bind off method', see what comes up. Good luck! 👍
@@rosemarywhitley4494 Thanks Rosemary. It’s the long tail I don’t get. Most tubular bind offs are short lengths. But the ribbing around the neckline of a v-neck cardigan is very long. Still trying to puzzle it out and find the answer. I’ve been digging through YT for the answers. Thanks, though.
