Just got my gen 6 radio today can’t wait to get it installed. I have the 2021 Jeep 4xE seeing you guys retain the 4xE features was the biggest catch and why I bought mine.
My climate controls shows heating/AC fans as on but no air is coming out. I replaced the HVAC blower fan fuse and checked the other fuses associated with HVAC/climate, still not responsive.
Hopefully linkwell can keep some more of Fords factory features on some kind of update. Would love to keep Ford app and other stuff but the radio is awesome.
So if it’s something run by SYNC there is no way for us to retain it apart from retaining SYNC. If we retain SYNC then we lose 75% of the aftermarket features of our radio and leave ourselves vulnerable to SYNC and its updates. So unfortunately with Ford there isn’t a way around it that works well. We retain as much as we possibly can for Ford currently. The Ford Pass app should still work outside of tracking. That is the only part of the app that is lost when installing our radio.
I love my gen 6 especially how it works with my 4xe my only thing I can’t seem to find is how to turn on & off my heated seats n steering. the only option to do it when the car get remote started but not anywhere else. Please help
@@GiverOfEnergy go to settings/system/settings guide/seat and wheel. Turn those features on. Then save and reboot. Then the icons will now appear in the climate control pop up page.
@@gajep71 the factory app will work just fine outside of tracking the vehicle. Data 100% depends on how much you use and what you use. :/ we have a couple different prepaid plans we can connect you with a rep for. 10 Gigs I think for an average use person would be plenty. If you plan on streaming a ton I would go up from there.

just saw solargarage shared a recent video showing how to retain the factory mic and using the XM antenna for GPS with the gen 6 so now I’m definitely leaning towards this one!!!
Hey Jon. Im currently running the gen 5 radio in my wrangler. My phone updated android auto last night and so far today, my jeep has not been connecting to the radios android auto. I think its trying, because as im playing my music thru the cars BT music, the music or podcast stops periodically in the same way it would stall as the phone fonnected to the cars android auto, but then it starts playing again. Im not sure if others have experienced this issue yet but hopefully you can help me out!
So real talk, Android Auto is an awful app to interface with. But we will try figuring it out. In the radios Bluetooth forget the phone. And try repairing the phone and setting up Android Auto. You may try downgrading the ZYLYNK version to 4.0.18 tends to be better for Android.

Can the auto start stop button be used for the active exhaust button in a Wrangler 392?

Is the Off Road engine display only for Gen 6 or 4XE? I have a JL Gen 5 and don't see that option but would love it!

No. You have to install our microphone.

We do not currently have plans to develop a Frontier radio.
