We have been to Kihava , it was so difficult to enjoy the reef as the current was extremely strong. And several times diving centre moved our snorkel trip to the other island. Kandolhu was really nice, but the corals are not colored any more. In 2010 it was much more colourful at Olhuveli resort. Imho
I was wondering whether Raffles Meradhoo was a contender? I heard the snorkelling was amazing there, and it was one of the reasons I was planning a trip there later this year. If Raffles was a runner-up, what were the reasons you chose these 3 resorts over Raffles? I'd be really curious to know, thank you very much! And thanks for another great video, I've watched many of your videos recently!!
Hello and thank you for your kind message. So far, we have not had the chance to visit Raffles. It is, indeed, meant to have a pretty good house reef, but from what I've heard from people who've been, it's not as good as a Anantara Kihavah or a Milaidhoo. I think that even if we went, it would still not rank in the top 3. Still, we think Raffles is more than a decent resort !
Thank you :) I'm not gonna lie, I've never heard of it...despite knowing pretty well the Maldives. Therefore, I won't be able to give you my opinion on it unfortunately...
Hello, for coral life, I would say very close call between Raffles and Park Hyatt. For fish life, Anantara Kihavah. And for "global" I would also say Anantara Kihavah, even though the coral life is a bit less good than in the south, it's still really amazing.

@@theresortcollection oh what about Sun Siyam Vilu Reef?
Lily Beach reef it's pretty good. Part of corals are bleached but some look really great. Also Vilamendhoo has good reef in the area.
I know this video was posted in March 2022, but how recent/old are the individual clips of each reef?
Hello, it's mainly end of 2021 shots :) and reefs are mainly all improving in the Maldives !
@@theresortcollection awesome thank you!

@@theresortcollection how are the reefs of coco bodhu rithi ?
Out of all the Maldives resorts you’ve been to recently, which one is the best in snorkel?(include PH, Raffles, soneva fushi)

Most of Corals in Maldives were died recently. Oh, I miss it.
It did, indeed, in 2016. But since 2018 the situation is actually improving in most atolls :)
