@@clsmallenginerepair3814 anytime. I like trying to support all small engine repair especially the smaller channels as well as the bigger ones. I’d go ahead and do a video on whatever you can. I like seeing maybe a different take on how to fix it or a better way. Just saying. Thanks again

Oh man that was horrible. I have an old Murray that I probably will have the same difficulty. Great endurance for sure. Thanks for the video. Love it that your grand daughter is interested in what you are doing.

Thanks,, I'm starting a votech class for my 3 grandsons. There are two 11 and 1 that's 6.
      Home school thing..
but yeah, my granddaughter would rather do mower repair than home economics for sure..lol

@@clsmallenginerepair3814 Fabulous. Get an old engine and help them take it apart. Maybe each with their own engine. They can clean it all up and mount it on a board for their room.

@@butler386 good idea. I'm gonna start em on basics. Mower components, what parts goes in each Components .
Just like a real class. Hopefully I can show em rebuild an engine on the channel. Might be awhile. But atleast them doing repairs on the channel would be cool.

I had the same problem with an old Craftsman a few years ago. The rear wheels refused to come off. It ended by me doing something really stupid! I tried to knock them off with a small block of wood. The end result was the axles became disengaged from the trans. I went and purchased a new Husqvarna 46" Lawn Tractor. I found out that the axles should be lubed at least once a year, normally at the beginning of the season, with anti-seize. Yelp! That's right. Anti-Seize. If you don't do this, the wheels will seize up on the axle. Even new lawn tractors only come with a thin layer of oil on the axles. This is just not sufficient!

That’s one of the many reasons I really don’t like that type of axle. Much prefer to just take off four bolts

We replaced 2 real axle seals on our Husqvarna 46in. Riding Lawn Tractor.. and they keep leaking..What could be the problem? Thank you for taking the time to answer.

      I'm guessing it's a tufftorq k46 transmission.
Gotta clean the shaft really well. Could be u hav something internally wrong, causing excessive pressure, or a Vent tube clogged up, not breathing.( common)
If u don't put tape over the keyway cutout, it can cut the seal when u slide the new seal down the shaft.
      Or over filled..

My husband wants to know if there is a place to put the oil for the rear axle seals? The right side blew out and it started leaking, he replaced the seal already..He has a Husqvarna YTA 22V46...
    Can you help? Thank you,

If its a k46 trans, should be a black cap under cooling fan, carefully take cap off and add, about 1.5 inches below top,, do not fill to the top, half way up the magnet is good..

I'm in the same boat. I think you gotta drop the transmission and add fluid from the top

I know the post is old. You could use any synthetic 20w-50 oil. Personally, I put 5w-50 in mine when I swapped out the oil at 156 hours. By the way, the dealer will tell you that these trannies are sealed and that you shouldn't monkey with them. @@joannlupinacci8444

at 15:10 when you ran your finger through that groove - that groove has very sharp edges and you could get a nasty cut

Don’t beat on it to hard or you will brake the trans axle housing. If it’s like mine it’s plastic. 😡
