It's interesting to see how they have converted these coaches for use in new Zealand, presumably with new bogies, and also converting the doors from slam doors to plug doors. The coaches on Te Huia have had even more work done so they are now barely recognisable as Mk 2s.

When are these coaches being retired? Always wanted go over to NZ to see the beautiful country that it is, and all these lovely old steam locos.
