I've been playing for a few years and like to find a little something different and useful in people's videos... this time it is strumming patterns on a single note/string. Thanks, just about to click subscribe!
I'm glad you could get something from it! After doing a "strum pattern" on one note, split it across two notes, then 3 or 4. After that you're basically just doing a lick. Then if you can do that with a few different "strum patterns" and do them in a sequence, you could call that a phrase. It's a good way to vary the rhythms you're playing when you solo, which I think is almost more important than the notes you choose. Have fun!
Thank you! I'm pretty obsessed with @DixMusicStudio, and before that channel showed up all I needed was @QuistJam. You can't go wrong with either of them! Honorable Mentions: @JaminBackingTracks @ElevatedJamTracks @TomBaileyBackingTracks Have fun!
UA-cam! If you've been using the G pentatonic scales on this channel, I've made a handful of backing tracks that will work with those scales. ua-cam.com/video/I5QLKOl1b4w/v-deo.html&pp=gAQBiAQB Or you can also search: "Backing track in G" "Backing Track in Em" and as long as you pick one in the key of G or E minor then it will work with the scales on this channel. My favorite backing track channels are @quist and @DixMusicStudio, but there are a lot of good ones. Have fun!
