- This is a basic understanding of control transformers. In this video I talk about a simple step down transformer, and how it works as well as it's construction. this is a common transformer type that can be found in many industrial control applications. Thanks for watching please like and subscribe.
Nicely explained🎉
I think the voltage in secondary is induced because of the alternate electromagnetic flux crossing the secondary winding (Lens’s Law )and not because of the eddy current.Eddy currents are induced on the core and produces losses such as heat.this is the main reason core are shaped (laminated)and thermal isolated to reduced losses
video is pretty good otherwise but I totally agree eddy currents work against transformer efficiency via heat loss.
An excellent video , thanks
This is a PHENOMENAL video. I wish they had made us do this when I was in college for Electrical Engineering! One thing that was not super clear is how the windings are separated. Was there a layer of insulation on them that was burned off?
So u would have to put all 3 legs of 480 3 phase on the primary side?
great video, could you make more video on protection coordination?
what's the total or maximum amps this transformer puts out?
Pls. How can someone know or indicate the secondary or primary side to avoid rong connections. I need to know pls
Why u stop boss
HI,
Could the owner of this channel contact me please? I would to learn more about your content development program. thanks.
Hey PJ, what would you like to know?
@@themaintenancefactory2592 Hi, I would like to discuss possible development opportunities, more of the same content.
