I’m currently the principal keyboardist and backup vocalist in a local Hampton Roads country rock band. I have loved the sound of a pedal steel for as long as I’ve been alive on this earth. I currently am using a virtual plug-in that simulates the sound of a pedal steel, and I play as close to the real thing as possible. I received many good compliments from how good it sounds and how much it adds to the color of our six piece band. But however, for absolute true authenticity and realism, there’s nothing better than the real thing. This looks really neat.

I thought that you couldn't modify the copedant on the Stage One! I'm curious to know how easy it was to change.

Wonderful display of the Stage One. Did you use an available bell crank or did you fabricate one? Really adds some needed versatility to this. You play great and I enjoy all the videos. Thanks.

Thank you Larry. I used the bellcrank the top F# is hooked up to and hooked the rod to the opposite side. Also the stop for the knee lever had to be moved slightly to provide more travel. I appreciate your kind words!

u do play very well i am having another problem the5th or 6th is jumping out ofthe roller nut for some reason did this twice now thanks for the other tip God Bless seeya later555

Thanks Edward, when stringing the 5th and 6th strings I try and wind them to the outside edge of the tuning post to keep the string more in line. It also helps with hysteresis on those strings. Best of luck on your steel playing!

How did you go about with changing the right knee left lever to change the first string up a whole tone? I have this guitar and would love to have this option.
