What, I’m the first to comment? Having done stonework, I have to say you’ve done one heck of a job, that top plate was amazing, got that looking straight, flat and ready! Absolutely loving your channel!!!
Thanks! The masonry was a lot more work than expected but we’re glad it’s done and we're working on more exciting parts to this project. Thanks for watching!
Watching this series sort of in reverse, started with the timber frame roof and was really impressed! Seeing what was done to this stacked rock silo was equally enjoyable. The wood work makes perfect sense to me being a millworker of 30 years, but trying to imagine people building this in the early 1900's is unfathomable? No lifts, mixers or even lasers and knowing that all you gentlemen are doing is chinking someone's labor , unreal! Respect!
We completely agree, what they were able to accomplish 100 years ago with the tools they had is incredible especially the amount of hard work they had to put in! Thanks for watching and God Bless!
Might be a little Late, but you can use a stiff brush to strike off the mortar. Once it's set up rather than using your hands. This works well on cultured stone and natural stone
Guys enjoy te videos, but please make a box for the mixer so you can easy scoop the mix from in a bucket. Helps in manny ways extra content, efficient, less spills. 😂
