What Dimash did in this song was impressive: He gave the kids the spotlight! He let them open the song, accommodated themselves to their limitations, led them, played a measured solo, prepared a "bed" for the children to shine and finished by tucking them in! There may be more beautiful, more technical, more touching versions... But no one can dispute that this version warms our hearts and souls through its simplicity and commitment to little ones!
He adjusted so well to the children, not overpowering them. It’s such a heartwarming performance.

Dimash was not trying to showcase his voice. He has always said - its about sharing music together. This was an extra song that he was asked to sing with the children as part of the Health and Harmony concert. He loves children and seeks to make them feel safe and encouraged. China love him and he will sing there because they ask. He just wants people to be uplifted - he has said so n a number of interviews.

Dimash has a deep love for children, and you really see it here! I wonder if you've seen him recently performing with Placido Domingo, the Pearl Fishers' Duet? He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan, but decided to go his own way. He is a fully trained classical singer, and with Domingo its incredibly moving to see these two together.

Interesting - almost every person reacting to this performance focus on how well the participation of all the elements fit together. Very few of those I've watched doing a reaction (almost all of them wonderful) mention that that was a group of children singing on China's CCTV 1. Singing with things required by these kids that were complicated. BUT THEY SANG IN ENGLISH without any accents, They performed so well that we just focused on How cute and meleody lines were these kids were.

I am somewhat surprised that CCTV aired this song given its true meaning.
Dimash left the show "World's Best" because he believes in supporting children, not competing with them. I think this performance exemplifies that belief.

Great reaction and analysis to arguably the best all-around singer/ performer on the planet. I would like to recommend another fantastic singer from the UK 20 year old Lucy Thomas. She has 70 + videos up on utube, and has just released her 5th studio album. At the beginning of next year she is to star in a brand new musical especially written for her on London's West End stage called "Rosie." She's just released a new video of the classic song "Unchained Melody" many reactors think she is one of the best singers in the world. I'd love to listen to your analysis and see what you think.
