Wonderful reaction, thank you. Singing with Dimash is always incredible. He never tries to outshine his partners, especially not children. He always holds back and lets them shine. It is a Kazakh tradition that adults always support children in what they do and never compete with them.
He recently sang it this song on the show Beauty And Harmony in China. I love his deep voice so much. It's so warm and soft. But unfortunately the song is too short here.
The original is from Rolf Lovland and Brendan Graham (Secret Garden) from Norway. Maybe you heard it in the version from Josh Groban or Westlife.

What Dimash did in this song was impressive: He gave the kids the spotlight! He let them open the song, accommodated themselves to their limitations, led them, played a measured solo, prepared a "bed" for the children to shine and finished by tucking them in! There may be more beautiful, more technical, more touching versions... But no one can dispute that this version warms our hearts and souls through its simplicity and commitment to little ones!

Thank you so much, adore your reactions because they are genuine, you are a music connoisseur and have a talent for hearing and appreciating the beauty of music...I would like to know your opinion about another talented musician from Kazakhstan - his very famous composition - Therr Maitz, Gruppa Skryptonite - Natural Blues (LAB with Anton Belyaev).
Zhou Shen sang Raise Me Up with slightly older children two years ago, but this performance with Dimash is far superior in interaction with the kids that tugs at the heart.

The best version of that song is definitely So-Hyang's.
The look at the end gets me every single time. He truly loves and cares about children; it's the sweetest thing.
It’s nice. It’s one of the few times that he stays in his low voice the whole time. I can appreciate it in that sense. The rendition Overall was just kind of average to me (I didn’t really feel that the children added anything either , Sorry.), to tell you the truth, but I appreciate the vocal choice.
