Love this video!! Your basement looks amazing. My fav gun cab is operation wolf as well. I hope arcade 1up comes out with that one. I played that game so much as a kid. I may get T2 after seeing your review. Thanks man. 👍🏻
Thx brother! Operation Wolf, even the sounds to this day take me back to nothing but amazing memories. I run the game on my modded Street Fighter even though I have no light gun on it just for ambiance 😁
Yeah awesome video. I have Pac-Man 40th anniversary, The Simpsons, and midway legacy cabinets. I want a room like yours. Yeah I was born in early 80s so I have fond memories of this game also. New subscriber.
The reason people ask why you have “toys” is to somehow try and insult you because they are jealous of your game room. You are absolutely correct - the form factor is great. They look great and play great. And good value. Awesome review, and awesome game room!
Very cool! I really wish they'd finally bring the great Terminator: Salvation arcade game home one day someday, somehow too! We can still dream for now at least, I think, I hope!?
So glad to hear the guns are loud. That’s what I remember most from the game as a kid was the insane “shucking” of the guns. Don’t remember needing to hear the game at all haha. Awesome.
Nice game room dude - I'm with you on that, I wanted more than just super expensive/constantly breaking old school video game machines. I prefer the 3/4 now.... I will have to post my game room once it is finished. Hopefully this summer if all goes well. I have 12 arcade1up machines, The AT Legends machine, The MSVX SNK 50 in 1, a skeeball machine, basketball shoot, pool, darts, foosball, 2 pinball machines (1 custom with 800 games), slot hockey machine, arcade1up polaroid photo booth w/ 10 background canvases for pictures, the infinity game table, a pop corn machine, hot dog roller. I do have a theater with an HD projector in the main garage part with a couch, but I don't have nearly as nice a setup as you have planned out (with all the nice recliners etc - **shoot I wish** but as it is I have so far avoided my wife killing me, buying those would certainly do the trick). I have to admit though, I do LOVE those digital posters you have - that's sick and I might have to beg for those. lol Anyway nice job and thanks for the in depth review for T2, it was on my list. But I am running out of room haha - or I might just swap out. Subscribed! 👍
OPERATION WOLF!!! YES!!!!! Wish Arcade1up would hear our plea for getting this game. Subbed to follow your progress on modding this though again, wish there was an official solution for Operation Wolf.
Seems cool, but to me T2 is all about bass heavy loud sound and a big screen. So this feels like it has had its balls chopped off a bit. Regardless your set-up as a whole is great, shame you can't get the real deal down there.
great setup man the placement is perfect especially that row of smaller cabs. it's a great use of the space and you're right those are much more reliable and easier to maintain than the larger cabs. Not to mention more power efficient and you can fit a ton of them together. T2 cab looks great by itself it deserves to be by itself, like it was at the arcades you would always notice it before the other cabs, at least I did especially the massive light gun which would not even stand up straight on its own
Ioved the rant... I agree but I also take the time to upgrade the controls and sound for each of the 3 cabs I have which builds on that Sensation of being at the arcade with great feeling controls. I LOVE Your Man Cave! Thanks for taking the time to make a video!
If i remember correctly the noise the gun is making was just as loud on the arcade... Kinda like part of the original experience. I will say my sinden lightgun i bought from kickstarter isnt that loud.... Cant wait for my cabinet to come in.
Watched this and went right to the website and ordered it. Great video and your mancave looks awesome man! New subscriber! Look forward to your future videos......especially the T2 modding one!👍
I would consider putting a physical scanline generator between the computer/board and the screen, to smooth out the jaggies and give it the "CRT feel". It's a shame they didn't go for the original fixed gun design with this T2 cabinet, the original guns technically work like "joysticks" (no sensors), maybe it was a financial decision? :)
That would be pretty awesome, I think it can be done but the monitor is not connected via an HDMI to the PCB, a bit more complicated but I do hope they have the option in a future update
Excellent point made about having multiple arcade1ups. Those are my exactly same reasons also. I'm doing a video soon on my new and improved gameroom/mancave.
I would never get a full size cab through my front door. I would have to disassemble it and bring it inside in pieces. Most people say these look like toys but I've never had a guest that wasn't impressed by the toys I have.
no idea how i found this, i thought it was micheal B the game genie at first lol but very cool, hello from Cobourg Ontario Canada. liked and subbed. impressive sized basement lol
Toronto represent! I have the MSH cabinet modded with a PC, you can't beat the small form factor for what's essentially a piece of functional room decor.
I'm always so jealous of you guys in the US. Over here in the UK, the arcade1up's are available from a few select online stores. But at totally stupid prices. I could built a full size cab with everything needed for a lot less. Great mancave by the way.
I'm in Canada, a bit better pricing than the UK but we lose out on conversion rates here and generally pricing is higher than the US. Have usually gone over the border to buy in the past
Great review and game room! Like you I had issues with audio but your advice to download the update solved most of those problems. This cabinet is a work of art - easily one of my top 3 cabinets from A1up. I also tried opening the lightgun (to try and lower the clicking volume) but I was unable to remove that tip lol.
Thx! Ya the top is glued for some reason and I was afraid I was going to break it. I did some sound mods and painted the guns will share more on my Instagram!
Beautiful T2 Cabinet. T2 and Simpson were the nicest cabs from my childhood, but T2 i played the most. It's the only cab i would like to buy, if i would buy an arcade. i would prefer the original with the mounted, metal guns. But it will be difficult to track down, so this is a great alternative!
Please once you get that all modded show how it's done. I'm with you. I've been wanting a light blazed light gun based arcade machine. I have a modified Street fighter machine that has T2 on it and stuff like that but I want one light gun machine with games like you said. Operation Wolf House of the Dead Terminator 2. Jurassic Park all that stuff. I'm intrigued to see if you can make it work
I like the size. I’m from the 80’s arcade era. People have to remember that large, heavy duty machines are deliberately built that way to withstand extreme abuse in public arcades and because older technology was very bulky. I remember angry players punching the plexiglass, slamming the controls and literally trying to flip over the cabinet. There’s no real need for that at a private home. I like quality components and large screens, but giant cabinets aren’t really necessary anymore imo.
Gadamn! Nice basement!!! Please make a video on the gun cabinet. I was going to do the same exact thing but still a bit hesitant because I didn't know if the Sinden guns would work on a PC. The gun games I absolutely need are Time Crisis and House of the Dead 2. If all goes well, I can add a pedal to it.
Way too much trouble, and have too many other things going on as well. Nor do I have that tools, or time. Modding things from a tech prospective is a complete non issue for me.
Looks awesome dude!! What screens are you using for your animated movie posters? I checked out your list in the description, is it the Samsung 32" Smart Signage Display? I've been looking to get something similar for our basement. Does it have USB ports to add in the movie poster art/videos? Thanks in advance!
Thx I'm using digital signage but it's way overkill for nowadays as I did this a while back. Purpose was for the screens to appear as posters and not tvs, but guess what new tvs all have small bezels all the at around. Just get no name brand for cheap. Just subscribe and watch my previous videos on DIY digital signage. Going to put out a more detailed one soon
@@gameroomtheater Thanks for the reply and info. Yeah, I love that look of the posters without having giant frames. I'll have a look for some cheap brand screens and see what I find. Just subscribed. Looking forward to seeing more videos. Have a great weekend!
Yo bro ur cave is super awesome. What’s the sq footage of it. And also I noticed ur digital posters. Where can I get them. I have a cave also and I would love to hang them posters in mine. Very cool.
Thx! It's not as the theater room is sound insulated and that is where we watch movies. Outside tv is for listening to music hanging out watch sports etc
Love the design and the light guns are on point. If they had added Operation Wolf (like you said), Mechanized Attack, and another shooter, it'd be an instant buy for me. I really don't understand for the price why they didn't consider some other games.
Awesome video I love what you said about modding the terminator two cabinet with those awesome games… I would love to see that I just hit the subscribe button. Happy gaming!!!!
I was curious if the force feedback could be turned off. It sounds great, but maybe a bit noisy if playing at night while other people in the house are trying to sleep. Good to know turning it off is an option. I've been dying for a lightgun game for my arcade, and though I'd rather have a Time Crisis cab, this one looks great and the game seems super fun from the little I've played of it in the past. Think I'm going to break down and put in a preorder for it! Thanks for the video!
I'm holding off until they make a Jurassic Park trilogy cab. I remember playing The Lost World game all the time back at the arcades and I occasionally played JP3 at Walmart when they had actual arcades at the entrances. This does look cool though!
I own a real T2 arcade game , the guns are super loud on the real machine. So arcade 1-up is making it close to authentic with the sound of the gun feedback .
Man cave looks awesome! Curious where you got the poster style LCD boards with backlit display? I do not know if that is what they are actually called but the ones mounted on your wall displaying the terminator
Wow you have the best MAN CAVE I've ever seen in my whole 42 years of living. OMG just AMAZING!!!! I have 13 soon to be 15 arcades and your putting my arcade room to shame. I would love it if you could do a video on all your LED lights especially the one on your theater ceiling. Wow bro i am speechless and jealous about your man cave bro. Not jealous because you have it but jealous that it looks so damn good. Wow just WOW!!!!
WOW ,,mancave is enormous ,, you must have one big career man , the sheer number of arcade,1-ups wow ,, my must get list as it concerns Arcade-1ups ,,, "Mortal-Kombat-2" the older rounded cabinet version ,with a better painted riser box ,,, and Konami's "TMNT" , ,that's 6 legal to own arcade games in 2 cabinets ,,, some of arcade 1-ups prices can be insane for such a small screen ,,,wish you the best ,, 👍
Yes 19in screen ,alas it's the constraint of the size of the cabinets given , unless ,, people DO mod the 1-ups now and then hmmm 🤔 would someone make money doing "WideBoy Mods" to arcade 1-ups ? ? If someone cut some thick spacers between the "SideArt" and the middle functions ergo Marque and Joystick-platforms ect,,on left and right sides of the joystick platform ,making it match up along the contures of the sideArt-panels ,,some strips of plywood ,careful hand paint detail or glueable printings , maybe a 24in flat-monitor ,presto change-O and Boom ,, do ya think that might work ? ?
*pasted response as several people asking. Diy please see my previous videos explaining them. Will be doing a more detailed one soon as well so others can get theirs going.
The force feedback is pretty close to how it was back in the day, Ive considered an original machine, but their 400 + pounds. This solves the problem. Ill stick it next to my T2 pinball and that area will be complete !
That's awesome and you're the third person to remind me the Gun was loud, somehow my memory on that from 20 years ago completely failed me. 😊. I forgot to mention in the video I'll be painting the guns black for sure, and doing something with the marquee...it could havr better contrast and material, seems too faded and the after market ones I have for the others were much better.
I only still remember because there is a arcade bar down the road that has one, otherwise remembering the movie theater arcades from the 90s would be a stretch 😆
I'd say pretty close, I did open one lots of dead space inside, I will add some weight to it for sure. If I exaggerate a bit, the weight is like a small water gun without water !
It seems like I'm the only one who hasn't found an arcade1up cab for dirt cheap, I basically want any model all the way back just to mod but would be easiest with one that has 2p and 6 buttons each. 4 is workable cuz neo geo would be kinda cool to paint up my own bootleg mvs tbh
I'm with you.i have no interest in arcade1ups but if I could get the box for cheap I could make a mame cab out of it. I could even make a new button panel if it didn't have the layout I want but I haven't seen any cheap ones in my area
*pasted response as several people asking. Diy please see my previous videos explaining them. Will be doing a more detailed one soon as well so others can get theirs going.

Build it and they will come 😁👍🏾
@@gameroomtheater I remember that movie , that was when Robin Hood and Darth Vader built a baseball Diamond in the middle of a corn field , , , ,
Whoa, where are those frames on the wall with the moving T2 posters from?
Very awesome room !! Do you have the video uploaded of the street fighter cabinet ?
Thx yes I think from 2020
Shame there's no shaders and the audio is quiet. While the Arcade1up units are cool toys you'd have a more complete experience on a big cab.
Agreed, but with space limitations I'm pretty content with the 3/4 experience
Bro I love that man cave if I had that man cave I would ever bother go outside! Lol
GREAT setup. would you mind going more in depth about "HTPC (powering media display for movie posters)". looking to do a similar setup
Now let me ask you a question, how are the guns to scale? Are they 1 to 1? I flipped back and forth images, it appears the design is pretty similiar
Awesome setup! What do you do for a living??
Love your videos!
Could you please tell me what the casino machine is next to the foosball?
Thx I talked about it in my last video before this one. It's a Pachinko
I love the tv displays on the walls. I would love to make that happen. What brand and model TV's do you use ? They look very low profile.
love those posters. what are they??. i've seen them before on the internet. Holographics kinda posters??. they really look cool.
Thx, lots of diy info in my previous videos
Looks authentic, even has bullet holes on the sides. 👍
Heyyyy... where did you get those poster screens from? The one with the T800 moving.... please tell me :)

@@gameroomtheater great. Thanks
Great video and info will you do a video on how to with PC and leakers upgrade for T2?
Planning on it!
Can you do a tutorial on how to mod the cabinet to allow for multiple shooting games
Working on it!
I just my T2 cabinet like 3 weeks ago for 300 bucks. I wish it bad some extra games though. Also what are those digital T2 picture screens on your wall? I'd love to add those to my man cave.
