Loved this ❤, we are UK born Nigerians and taking a 2 week self catering vacation to Barbados from the UK, could you please advise where to buy the ingredients to make chicken stew and plain rice, thanks
@@BelemaRonabere No wahala. I was on your blog recently, I would consult you soon concerning moving to Barbados. I'm in Nigeria making preparations to move, waiting for my passport. I'm actually a remote worker.
Some ingredients and food items are not available in the Caribbean but they seem to have similar counterparts on a specie level. I also think because Nigeria is quite large, and has states that experience different climates, the variety of food produced is also vast which reflects in the dishes we make. For example, the southern areas may use more seafood in their dishes vs the northern and middle belt that incorporate more grains combined with animal proteins. It’s different from the Caribbean but with similar roots.
I love the Gathering of Friends. That's beautiful. 👍🏾
I’m really grateful for them 🙏🏽
Yum yum
Thank you
Its the pepper soup🤤😋 and the jellof rice for me, everything look yummy. Happy new year in advance 🥳
I dreamt of that pepper soup all night lol

Just being curios: why was there no alcohol?
I don't drink alcohol :)

How is Nigerian cuisine differ from Caribbean cuisine like Jamaica Barbados and Trinidad
