What is a buyer's rebate and tips on how you can ask for one.

One of the biggest questions we have from our community is not only what a buyer rebate is, but how exactly you can ask for one.
A few things to note from this interview...
1. Buyer Rebates are legal in 40 states
2. There are some circumstances in which a buyer's rebate might not be fair
3. While some "best agent" platforms take a high monthly fee, most take 25% to 30% of your agents commission. Realtor.com and Zillow used to sell your info on a monthly fee, but are both slowly moving towards percentage fee to make more money.
4. Friendly reminder that Realtor.com is operated by NewsCorp, not the National Association of Realtors
4. The best platform to search for a buyer's rebate is HomeOpenly. They do not take a fee from agents that participate, which means you get all of the savings.

happy to help! Recently, some have changed their wording from an admin fee to a "regulatory compliance fee" but it's all the same. Just better wording to make you think it's needed.
