Thing is even a seasoned veteran can botch a move and alter a wrestlers trajectory, see Owen piledriver on Austin. Plus bret was the only wrestler that goldberg left worse for wear after his kick. So it's hard to say that goldberg's "greenness" caused bret to end his career.
@@nygma619 yeah I would definitely agree with you on that but to say that skill and ability wise that Goldberg should've been in the spot he was in... no I wouldn't agree with that because he was definitely green as grass but like you said accidents happen even with the best like Owen/Austin. But my opinion even back then was that Goldberg really wasn't great at all and was just pushed to the moon and back 🤷♂️

Might be wrong but I think Bret Hart is one of Punk’s favorite wrestlers so it explains why he is the way he is. I mean to this day The Hitman still relieves the past and is a very grumpy old man nowadays so unless Punk lets it go he’s gonna end up the same way.
