I too enjoy that Angel's Share DNA, but I only use it for special events. I discovered a Middle Eastern fragrance that kinda gives me that vibe without the booze. Afnan's Amberthyme. It has received really good reviews, but I feel it's underrated for some reason. You have amber, cinnamon and Tonka in the opening, then Jasmine, vanilla in the mid and ambergris and sandalwood in the base. Yummy. I think I paid 45€ for 80ml. The presentation is a bit OTT, but hey, that just my opinion. Just something I thought you might want to try out!

Ok, you talked me out of Quissa Pink. I appreciate your thoughts! More often than not, I’m extremely disappointed by hyped fragrances, and I definitely hate any kind of synthetic/plastic scent.
I’m so glad to hear that the Miss Dior got stronger. I loved the smell and was disappointed by the performance but just got it!
I finally tried those more expensive Jimmy Choos and they were absolutely fine but not at that pricepoint. As with most things, the vanilla one seems to get the most love, interesting to hear your thoughts. 😊
It’s nice enough but yeah, not my favorite. I haven’t tried any of the other ones though.

I bought Hez Banana Bread Banshee and WOW! You were right! It was an immediate love at first sniff! It’s not over the top banana and it was a lot deeper than expected. It was really unexpected honestly and initially it put me off because I was expecting sweet banana. But I was pleasantly shocked and just loved it! Bought a full bottle and now I need more from this house! Very unique creations!

Hey Jackie - you need to get to New Orleans; it’s one of my most favorite places! I have a decant of Cafe Beignet and it’s pretty spot on for the NOLA Cafe Du Monde experience. Looking forward to your take on new ME releases 👍🏻 I’ve purchased prob 25+ Arabic bottles over the last 90 days (gah😳) and nearly all have been wins; except Qissa Pink. I’m gonna let it sit a while and see if it’s better in a few months. For the low price point agree - not horrible, but you need to like sweet, creamy & fruity. I don’t find it unique. I bought a sample of Ode to Dullness and agree, indeed it’s dull. I have several others that fill a similar position/need in my collection so no FB of that. Appreciate the updates, they are helpful!

Hey Jackie. Thanks for the update. I love Miss Dior. Some of the Hez perfumes sound nice. Yara is one of my favorite fragrances. I’m glad to hear your thoughts on Qissa Pink. I don’t think I want to try it since I love Yara.
There’s a plastic smell to Qissa I just can’t get past. 😔
@@jaxbeautifulyou I felt the same way about Lataffa Qaed Al Fursan. The plastic smell wouldn’t go away even after months of waiting. I think that’s the downside of Middle Eastern fragrances
Since you like hez brownie points, xerjoff via Cavour 1, and la capital then I think you need to get a sample of xerjoff aurum. It's chocolate, strawberry, rose, and oud. It's beautiful to me and I think you will like it. It smells like strawberries and roses dipped in chochocolate. The oud is the tolerable oud Xerjoff uses in la capital. Aurum is a sexy grown up gourmand.

I wondered if Ode to Dullness might be on the chopping block for you.. I'm not wearing it as much these days.. it's good, but there are just other scents I'd rather spray on 🤷🏻♀️ Still haven't pulled the trigger on a sample of Vanilla Love, even just a sample can be fairly pricey sometimes, and I'm not sure if it's worth it! 😅

I’ve been interested in Ambre D’Alexandrie for quite a while now. But I’ll wait until August to purchase it for fall. I usually disregard seasons with my fragrances, but, just in case it really matters for this particular fragrance ….. I’ll wait….😊
The only Paris Corner fragrance I’ve tried is Khair Pistachio. I love that one, but it seems like they’re hit or miss 😢

Your eye makeup is so dreamy. A green pallet suits you to a T 💚 I got a 2024 decant if Miss Dior and really like it. Also, I’m checking out the Hez sale and it’s a tough call between the beignet and the plum. I have a lot of chocolate perfumes already but tempted by the brownie scent since you pick up a lot of strawberry. I wish I had enough skin and money for them all haha

I really have to try Ambre d'Alexandrie... I'd definitely enjoy an easier to wear Angels Share like fragrance. The ambre gris note had me a little worried... That note can come off too salty on me.

I don’t detect ambergris at all in it. It’s definitely a beautiful scent. 💕
I recently tried Brownie Points as well because I love a chocolate note. The opening was very delicious, chocolate and strawberry. However, on the dry down, on my skin, the incense note became all I could smell. While not an unpleasant scent, it's just not something I want to smell like. If it didn't have incense, it would be perfect.
I'll be trying Banana Bread Banshee next.
In me BP goes masculine and sweet, but not cloying. On the other hand Banana Bread Banshee 🤤🤤🤤🤤😍 That one it's my favorite, so pretty and delicious. That dry down hits all the points if you are a gourmand lover, I mostly get caramel, vanilla and chocolate 🍫 😊 Again not cloying at all. Even on this tropical weather. Great performance on both ❤👌🏾

I blind bought a 50ml bottle of banana bread banshee and thought I made a mistake at first!! The first few times I tried it, all I got was straight up incense!! I let it sit for a few weeks in the box because I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it!!! I tried it again after a few weeks and all I get now is yummy banana bread!! I keep sniffing my arm...lol!!! Let it sit and try it again after a few weeks before you get rid of it!!!
Hi Jackie! I bought decants of many of the Hez you mentioned, I do feel they are a bit synthetic, so definitely gotta let them dry down, but I liked plum,BBB, CB. I’m interested in your ME upcoming video as tbh I haven’t jumped on that train yet.

I really enjoy the Ambre D'Alexandrie. Have you smelled the Oud de Carthage in that range? I've been curious about that one but have no clue what kind of Oud it would be.

I've been on the fence about the Hez brownie points. I've only seen men doing reviews, and i can not do any kind of masculine scent!! I was afraid the dry down would be too incense & masculine for me!!
I don’t think it is, but I’ve heard others say it is on their skin so definitely test first.

I believe that one of the main reasons why people hype Middle Eastern fragrances is the low price point with regard to what they deliver. And I don't mean that in an offensive way. Plus, most of the bottles are over the top, designed with certain appeal to them.

Cee chronicles described the ode to dullness in a way that it could possibly be an "aggravating scent" to the wearer, like I think she said something about it can kinda stand out and be somewhat annoying.... Whatever note it is she was referring to I think she said was almost reminiscent of SALIVA 😂so idk .... Do u get a sharp or annoying note in it??
Do you get stuck on favorites? I’m really struggling to use my other beauties and when I do I often mix too many unless I’m going out, then I do stick with one or at least a reliable combo but I really want to try and experience individuals.💗
I do my best to try and rotate. But sometimes I get stuck on favorites

I purchased Argos Birth of Venus, I am a little disappointed in the performance and can't understand why. Everyone I have seen review it loves it and I have not heard any complaints. Do you think it will improve with time?
I did not have issues with the performance personally, but yes. Spray it a few times then let it sit. Chances are it will get stronger as it oxidizes. (Ages) ❤️
