Brissett has proven that he's able to play well, and I think that he will be the backup next year. We don't need the top THREE QBs in the AFC East. I could be totally wrong here also. It could be that Brissett gets dropped, maybe picked up as a backup for a team that wants to groom him, and Garoppolo waits a year and becomes the number one. Or we drop them both and get some extra picks in the draft and maybe a decent player. Or none of this could happen, and it's not worth the time speculating because everyone in the patriots organization don't even know we exist and even so, our opinion has no weight, and it's fruitless to get this involved in something that we watch for entertainment.
