AI, Art, and Memory Panel

Panel Discussion held at the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art on Thursday, September 19 exploring the entanglement of art, artificial intelligence (AI), and memory. The panel will included researcher Cynthia Boyton, artist Ed Bateman, and UMOCA Curator of Exhibitions Jared Steffensen. Using the exhibition, In Memory, as a foundation, the discussion explored AI’s capacity to generate memories, its influence on emotional intelligence, and how it can be used to create images from linguistic prompts.
