Sabne yahi bataya tha ki pehle clutch then brake. But your tips have helped me reduce unnecessary foot movement so much...ab mai sirf gear change karne ke liye clutch use karti hu aur speed 20 se neeche hai tab...thank you so much!!!

Well said. Vehicle becomes unstable when breaking with clutch at high speed. Utilise engine breaking. Engine breaking is also used in lots of other scenarios especially when you are driving down the hill.

I must have watched this vedio before my long drive of pune to Bhopal with my 6mnths old driving experience 😄. Jokes apart a was literally putting my car in low gears I.e from 6 to 3 on Highways to slow some times even In 50kms speed. Just becz I had fear, I can't control. But ur channels helped me a lot to learn and it gave me experience to drive, I had only driven 400km and opted alone to drive 800km safely all alone. And now I am a sinceble driver. Of my New Nexon

Have driven 800's with absolutely no brakes 😂 you can't stop that car without using engine braking.
Your car's engine struggles a lot don't do that
@@chiragcvm in old maruti 800's you have to use the engine braking , because brakes were mechanical otherwise I bet you can't stop the car on time.
@@ChandanSankhyan i use brakes on my creta but my father use engine braking and i feel bad for engine 😞
@@chiragcvm nothing happens to the engine if you use engine braking linearly rather than using it suddenly and giving a jerk.
@@chiragcvm nah engine braking is not bad for your car if you do it in proper way and yes it will hurt if you down a gear from 5th to 2nd on a speed of 80.

The content is absolutely right..
You can explain in the other way to let people know applying only soft break on high speed makes pleasant and a safe driving experience. Even when I started learning i too knew first clutch then break. But I was wrong when I had a bad experienced to stop my car suddenly when a cow just rushed into my car.
For those who are new to driving experience try sudden stop your car at around 60 to 80k in an emergency (make sure no one is behind while trying this. Try only in empty road.) with clutch then break and totally immobilize your car then you will feel the jolt you and your copassengers will face..
I have been doing same thing while driving bike. This is the best trick ever shared. Do this and you will have no problem.

Thank you sooooooo much brother. I was hell confused. Bht videos dekhe YT pe regarding brakes and clutch, but kisi ne b mera ye doubt clear nahi kia. B2B traffic ka and highways ka toh mujhe clear ho gaya tha but since I am a new driver and I usually drive 40-50 in city traffic toh I was damn confused whether I should stop at a signal while applying brake first then clutch or I can stop by applying clutch first and then slowly slowly brake. Your video cleared my confusion. Now I know I am not wrong when I apply clutch first at 40-50, even before I made this comment, I used to think that I am doing wrong and should apppy brake first always

Bro even of the car is slow, if you first apply clutch first followed by break in case of emergency braking, it doesn't stop exactly where you need to stop, it's always advises to apply break first followed by clutch irrespective of the speed of the vehicle

Clutch is only to change the gear, first brake then clutch + brake. I am learning from your videos and trying it in training school. I don't press clutch if speed is above 20, just press & shift gear and release. I struggle only in first gear but its 2 nd day in training school

Clutch plates ghiss jati hai agar pehle dabao....or pehle brake dabane se ek confidence sa b rehta hai...it's been more than 11 years I have been driving a car... Since I was in class 10th
Awesome bro. I wanted to learn whenever my car is in first gear, it usually do brr and jerks a little then go smoothly. It also happen in traffic too in first gear.
This is because your clutch release isn't smooth.
I used to face the same problem.
What I did was I just pick up the speed up to 15 then I quickly shift to second but that was creating pressure on engine.
To overcome this, in first gear just release the clutch only and then accelerate.
