Favourite series of ALL time. So sad it's coming to an end. 😢😥😓
Aight so I got a few thoughts to share.
1. This is one of my favorite shows Next to peaky blinders Finn Cole was amazing in both shows!
2. I could not stand Baz. I was happy when he died 💁🏽♀️ He got on my damn nerves.
3. What i couldn’t understand the most was how Deran and Craig were mad at J for stealing from Smurf and pocketing money from jobs but they basically let Baz walk all over them all that time.
4. J. Grew to be such a badass. He studied them, he watched and he learned and when it was all over he came out on top his mother would’ve been proud
5. Pope was my favorite character. He was very misunderstood. He was loving and he was a protector. He loved his brothers, and loved his mother. He showed humanity when it was time to kill J because even after J did what he did his love for his sister allowed him to keep J alive. He always felt the duty to protect Deran. He loved Baz even after Baz got with the girl he fell in love with. Overall Pope and J would’ve been amazing together if they could’ve just seen eye to eye
Such a great freaking show! Gonna miss it!
J's avenging his mother is a central theme to the entire series.

@@Keepcalmandbangscrew pope killed neither. He did kill many people, just not those 2. J killed Smurf
@@Keepcalmandbangscrew it was all the Cody's that let her die, but mainly it was Smurf who was the one mainly responsible for it. She never killed her directly, but left her and J alone, poor, and out to dry basically.
@@Xavier_Breaking_Bad I thought jay killing smurf would satisfy him. Cody’s were young and didn’t know anything
@@Keepcalmandbangscrew neither did directly. But Smurf sorta indirectly did by kicking her out and leaving her high and dry to fend for herself at such a young age.
I already miss this show so much, great credit to all involved

I thought the show looked cool from the ads and watched episode 1, season 1. Seen almost every single episode since. Animal Kingdom rocks.

J shooting Smurf to make himself appear to be invested in protecting Pope and he was stringing them
Along to use them to build his own empire…J was more of a Cody at heart , then the others. It just took his greed to convince himself that he did all of these horrible things in honor of his mother, but the monster was growing inside J, even as a child …Excellent writing and amazing show!

Number 6 wasn’t that surprising. It was along build up to that. Baz and Kath deaths and Pete’s eye came out of no where.

How come Pete's crew haven't come for the Cody crew yet?
It is really strange and random to drop that and half season already over guess will see, assuming it means they'll be the ones who kill off whoever isn't gonna make it in the end unfortunately. Likely Pope best case scenario just him which still sucks, and worst case Daren and Pope maybe even J as well.
They didn’t have the power or backing after they ripped off the cartel.

I think it was shocking, because Jay actually stood up to his Uncles. And showed his darker side. They don't know Jay has killed people other than Smurf.

The action, and reactions, are horrible--and I can't take my eyes off any of it!!! (It's often difficult to watch such pretty actors morph into so much ugliness as they've inhabited their characters over the years - but I've stuck with the Codys because their multiple stories are so damn compelling!) "Animal Kingdom" has been quite a ride...I hope the finale is worthy of the rest of this awfully awesome show!!!
