Hi guys! We just came across your channel and after watching this video we're keen to see more of your travels 😀 We went to El Salvador earlier this year and you visited the two places that we skipped. We were a bit worried about the safety situation in San Salvador, although we heard it has improved a lot. That colourful church looked absolutely beautiful. We'd just hiked up a volcano in Guatemala before coming to El Salvador, so we didn't visit Santa Ana volcano, but it looked spectacular! Didn't know about the colour of the water changing each year. That's really cool! We absolutely loved El Salvador when we were there and we think it's such a shame that more people don't visit it. It's such a beautiful country with really warm and welcoming people. And pupusas are the best!
Yes, it is such a beautiful country! There is so much more we would have loved to explore!! That is so neat you guys were there too, I will have to watch your videos!! Thank you so much for this thoughtful comment it made my day!!
For some reason I feel that if you hire a tour guide you miss the opportunity to know more and better places during your visit to El Salvador because they have their own pre-established route
I agree, sometimes tours can be really standard and not personalized. For El Salvador we booked a custom tour and we learned a lot more about the history and culture than I think we would have on our own, but that's not always the case!
I accidentally found your video and I realized that the place that you guys went to eat Pupusas is owned by my cousin! LOL 😂 Hope you liked the Pupusas and had a great that there!
I’m so happy to herd that! Because El Salvador 🇸🇻 it it’s not that bad , like people think. As a salvadoreña I do know that. However.it is like any other foreign country better be aware of the surroundings. Thanks for the reply 😊
¿Did you come in summer? Come in winter, well, in rainy season exactly or between summer and winter (nov-dic) . All is Alive, views are better. In august is good too.
@@HudsonAndEmily , winter in El Salvador means the rainy season, from April/may to the end of the season in October/ November. We only have two perceivable seasons, winter and summer, the dry season.
Yes, you ate them in the right way, with your hands. if you eat pupusas with a fork or something like that , you will be an outcast. LOL You did it right with respect.
El Salvador is not a danger country in the world 🌍 it pissed me off when people just judge a country that they don’t know they just listen to rumors or the news. 😡😡 go and look for yourself, and don’t listen to the stupid rumors or news!!!!!....
Dude, I appreciate you visiting my home country, but it would have been nice if you would have educated yourself with certain things. Let's start with the obvious one: Pupusas are NOT "flat bread". My goodness.
Awesome! guys, you made a great trip thank you for choosing El Salvador you're more than welcome to come back like you said we are good people. :D
Aw thank you so much! We met some really amazing people in El Salvador and are so glad we visited!!!
