You're not just a nanny you're a household manager/housekeeper and I really hope you're getting paid as such. Minimum should be $25 for that load of responsibility. I don't want other nannies thinking this is something you should accept. You're a wonderful nanny and obviously love those kiddos. Very sweet

Girl i was a babysitter for 4 boys, 1 of them a baby, 1 of them in kindergarten and the last two in school. I know the stress, but it’s a really rewarding job. the boy who used to be a baby is in 1st grade in school😭 and he already hates school😂 I started babysitting for them when I was 13 and stoped when I turned 19.The best 6 years of my life. I’m starting again as a 20 year old. Can’t wait🧡

Hey! Boy do I miss busy days like this! I’m currently at the end of a long term job since 2011, the kids are all teens now and I miss days like this so much. How many other families have you worked with?
Wow. You defiantly are a part of their family. Ive worked through a company that provided single one day jobs for about 6 months. Before that I was employed by a family but it didn't go so well. I have a video on that called my nanny horror story if you want to hear about it. Now I've been working with my current family whom I love so much for a little over a year.

You are those babies mom when their mom is at work and you are great mom!
So I’m 19 and this family wants me to watch their 4 & 6 year old. They want to set up a meeting to meet me however when I had discussed this idea with my mother, she said it was a horrible idea because lives are in your hands, and that if I don’t end up liking it I can’t just give up on a family and that it’s way harder than it looks. I have coached a 5-9 year old softball team so I’ve worked a lot with kids that age before but I know it will be way different coaching as taking care. I wish I can try it out first but I can’t and I love being around kids but it’s almost like a scary commitment. I think I’d do a great job as I’m also energetic but after what my mom had said now i don’t know. Do you have any advise for me ??? Thanks so much!
Go for it. I understand where your mom is coming from but if we always fear things it won't Bring you any experiences. Tell your mom that you have to learn and you can't be afraid of everything. Yes, taking care of kids is an enormous responsibility, but so is a thousand other jobs and people still do it.
Also, everyday I think about the serious role I am in these kids life and how my job is a big deal... that will never go away. Being a nanny is like being a parent. I guess what I'm saying is if you have the patience and the skill to being a good nanny then please do it because there aren't many nannies like that.

You become part of these peoples lives and routine and yes it’s huge responsibility but you’re trusted and if you know the rights and wrongs on things and safety you’ll be okay! And how old do you think someone need to be to start babysitting? I know some girls that are 10 that babysits and i know some 14 year olds that still has a babysitter.

When do you have any time to play with the kids? You do sooo much cleaning! The kids I watch always want me to play with them
I do set aside time to play with them during the day, of course! But I’m a mom during the day, which means I have to cook/clean/maintain the house as well! The kids know that😀
it's like you dont need to work out ..with the amount of movement/activities you do per day with 4 of them, very impressive!
It’s basically how I maintain my exercise lol. Get over 10k steps daily.

yes. Usually right after they nap theres a 2 hour period where we play. I read books and play with them throughout the day and they get like 10 books read to them before nap time lol.

Hey, depends on what country you live in. In the US id say that I personally wouldn't go any lower than $15 an hour for one kid. I get paid more than that since I have 4 kids and am basically a household manager was well. Lay everything out. Ask them what "light tiding' really means to them! A lot of parents have different versions of that and it would make you want to quit or get a raise right away. If you have nanny/babysitting experience and you can do a lot of household work as well, aim higher and if they don't except, maybe you guys can meet in the middle. I've had a bad experience before and all I can say is as the questions and don't be afraid of being blunt. Good luck!

hello h thanks for the questions😋 it can definitely be overwhelming sometimes.
Do you get a lot of referrals? Reason I ask is an obvious one. A lot of women would say no to hiring someone who looks as stunning and has a figure like yours. Having kids can have a pounding effect on a woman's self-image. Sometimes it leads the feeling of competition. Your personality is waaaay different from your looks. You seem used to those situations and no how to make your clients feel like you're part of the team and not a threat. Continue doing what you do, you are doing it well. While I'm commenting and watching the video you've proven to be an honest and loving person. Those kid's must love you, I find that so awesome!
Hey, I do have quite a few families that love me, but with that being said, I know that having kids may most defiantly change your confidence. At the same time, the female body is so amazing for even being able to do that and I have a lot of respect for moms. I have to much respect to ruin anything.
@@EstherPerepechkinI'm astonished at how you being successful as nanny. I have family that are just like you. Stunning but yet have the type of personality that deflects feelings of jealousy or envy. I find that sense of awareness very rare. Others that are above average in beauty seem to be very into themselves and give off a very negative vibe and don't do very well in the field of work. You are a rare breed as compared to most in society today. Consider what I'm saying an extreme compliment. Cheers to you!

Do what you can. Make a list of must have things that absolutely need to get done that day and spend the rest with your kids. Take a break if you can. Accept help if it’s offered. In my opinion it gets much easier when all kids are over the age over 5/6. Toddler stage is the hardest. You got this!
I really want to be a nanny once I’m out of highschool (will probably do a gap year before college to see if I can make nannying work, and if I can then I won’t go to college, but if I can’t, then I will) and I’ve been doing a bunch of research. How much experience did you have beforehand? I have 4 years experience babysitting right now, will have 5 once I’m done with highschool. Is that enough? It wasn’t nannying, just babysitting, so I don’t know how hard it will be to find a job. I’ve taken babysitting courses, first aid courses, and am CPR certified too.
Would you recommend this job for others who love working with kids?

When I started I was 19. As long as you have a reliable vehicle and will be there for the hours that you applied for 16 should be the earliest age. But I’m sure 18 is preferred.
You are aloud to wear croptops and shorts when nannying? I’d like to but I’d worry about judgement from the parents

You shouldn't be doing all those housekeeper duties. Minding 4 kids is enough of a job in itself. I really don't get how they make you clean their bedrooms etc when it's much more important for you to be minding them and making sure they're okay (especially the 2 year old, who can't be left unsupervised, he's so young). I hope they pay you lots for doing basically two jobs in one. Crazy stuff.
I know I can’t believe they ask her to do all of those cleaning duties. I take care of one baby and the only thing I’m asked to do is clean his bottles. They have cleaning people that come to clean the house.

Page 356 Hauser beauty book. Spit lotion. Purchase small bottle of calamine lotion and ask druggist to add one percent of phenol. A famous French beauty gave this simple formula which has been a blessing. Apply it to any trouble spot with clean fingers several times during day. To discourage an oncoming pimple soak a piece of cotton in spot lotion and apply over pimple. This lotion has amazing drying up qualities. ( I don't go for the "store" brand calamine) It works ❤️💜. I say this from experience ❤️💜

What if you have a “no” “I don’t listen to you” kid .. how do you handle it.
usually they're upset because they can't do something. Sometimes I tell them that "you do listen to me, Im the adult here. I make you food, clean after you, drive you to school etc. If you can do that all by yourself, then you don't have to listen to me."
At the end of the day you can't just give kids full rein over their day. They need care and direction. You can't just leave them at the park if they don't want to go home. Thankfully my nanny kids are pretty amazing!

Also depends on the ages and the work load. Just know that you’ll be there every weekday. Chances are because your going to be there all the time your workload with double naturally.

I didn’t know house managers did the cleaning. Isn’t that more a nanny/housekeeper combo position?
Household Managers will typically not clean, with exception of the light vacuum, kitchen wipe over and dusting.but either way you are doing a great job.

It depends and you are spreading old information. Even back when I read up on books on sleep (with my own daycare kids and my own children in the past) , I learned that what you said is not exactly true.

Lol just like it’s inappropriate for some nannies to sit on their phones and not do their job. If that’s my only “flaw” I’ll take it. They’re not going to care about my clothes when they are older.
It really is. I’m a nanny for my sister’s kids, and I don’t even think I would dress like this when I’m taking them places, on the clock. Or picking my nephew up from his Christian play school(or any school, for that matter)? So inappropriate.
