This game needed a sequel to fix and improve the overall experience of this already fun game. Shame that for some f*cking reason 2K (they owned the rights by that time) decided to shut down the servers.

Has anyone else ever noticed the similarities between this and the TNA game? I know this was made by the same studio (THQ had bought the studio that made the TNA game from Midway after Midway went under), but I forgot just how much it was like the TNA game. They even had the commentary team in this game say lines from the TNA game's commentary oddly enough.

I didn't play this because I didn't have a 360 at the time. The PS4 is my first Sony console. If they had it for the Wii then I was already turned off cross platform sports games on the Wii.
My only take away from this game is I wish they woulda gave the WWE stars normal bodies and they woulda had DLC for this game that added more matches, gear, arenas, wwe stars etc
What is it with people and remakes. No we don't need a remake we need an entirely new game with a new selection of wrestlers, new game modes and all that. Just a simple remake wouldn't be as good
There is a website (which is the reason they're playing This game) which makes servers (depending on the game and console) for local gameplay like the PS4 share play but instead of only 2 there's up to 6 (if you play PS2 with the extra controller add on) players to play on the same server.

It's an arcade game, they were intentionally made to look like they took steroids every hour. The game was never made for the looks, the customization or variety. All they wanted was fun gameplay, which they succeeded.

Midway became THQ San Diego, that’s why it felt very similar.
