9:01 the shot of flames shooting out of the Cadillac's exhaust on traction control is amazing, it reminds me of the flames out the back of the C8.R from your Roar video last year.
Great stuff Lanky, and great new angles! Despite having already been to the Rolex 24, the hype your testing videos create makes it seem like the season’s starting all over again!

I hope that the german teams can catch up a little in sebring. I mean BMW had no pace in daytona compared to the other Lmdh cars. And i was not really impressed with the reliability of Porsche. But still lets hope for some good racing in sebring folks!
It’s cool that both championships are here on the same weekend! It’s a little confusing remembering what’s when, but it will be great to finally see the pace of all the HyperCars at the same track.
I’m coming to Sebring for My first time to watch the 1000 miles and the 12 hrs. After being at this years Rolex 24 I think this is my new hobby now hahah! I’m hooked

8:14 GT3 cars have indicators? That's literally the first time I've ever seen indicators on a track racing car. I didn't think they were ever actually needed.
its perfect as always bro, u killed it ^^ maybe more zoom out here (7:15) but dis angle, dis plan, dis shot is already perfect but if i can put a postiv critic lol ^^ more upload bro !!! salut ;)
Yeah. Most IMSA/WEC cars have turn signals. Letting the Porsche now where he was going to go for him to pass. Also useful if they have to drive back to the garage during the race through the infield roads.
I think it’s that small little turbocharged engine can just get up on it a lot quicker than the others. Replacing the high banks of Daytona will see if I’m right.
During a race it shows track position once the race starts but will show the car number before the start. For an officially timed test like this they would show the position in that particular session based on lap times, but might show the car number before they set a lap time. Also though it's mandatory to use them during a race I believe it's optional to use them during a test like this.
Thanks LT. I just noticed that the Acura uses a similar engine as the 919, at least in cylinder count, that Porsche hounded the opposition with in WEC. Why didn't they just lift it wholesale from the 919 anyway? Cost, timing?
No it doesn't. The 919 was a V4 and is built to LMP1 regulations, which was totally different. The new LMDH/Hypercar formula is bigger, heavier, and less powerful, but a lot more affordable. The Acura uses a 2.4 V6 which is related to a cancelled 2024 Indycar engine that Honda was developing (indycar decided to stay with their existing 2.2l motor). it has technology Honda's Indycar, and from the championship winning Redbull-honda F1 engine program due to some engineers coming back to the US to work on it.
@@ciello___8307 Thanks Ciello, I don't even know where I could have read that. Certainly without question, Acura is the one to beat. They are really in a good form. 👍

I love the exposed exhausts on the Porsche and Lamborghini's, seeing the exhaust glow red hot is just as cool as seeing the brakes glow red hot

Fingers crossed that those beautiful rear ends are the only angle the rest of the GT field gets to enjoy!

Great video. What camera / lens are you using?
Nicely done !
The Acura sounds quite similar to the Honda F1 car off throttle/on initial acceleration
My favorite track.
Ngl, the Acura is fast af
Here at Sebring it's probably faster because, it seems, to have a better chassis than other Lmdh
I think it’s that small little turbocharged engine can just get up on it a lot quicker than the others. Replacing the high banks of Daytona will see if I’m right.
I think the high revving na nature of the Cadillac means slightly more peaky power so the Acura has better corner exit and mid range .
they beat everyone at Daytona already. its a fast car for sure. Not surprising though since Acura was last year's IMSA champion

Hey, quick question how do you stick up your phone on top of the bridge when they're going fast?
There's gaps at the top you can stick it though if you're really tall or else you can stand on a step ladder or cooler or something. There's always spider webs up there though
These new 992 GT3 Rs don’t seem as loud as the 991.2 GT3 Rs even with the open exhaust
Anyone knowing where i can watsh the race ,?
Are the testing Friday an is it open to the public?
They ran Wednesday and thursday. Track is closed but there's a few spots outside the track where you can see
No corvette? Or did I just miss it?
The test wasn't mandatory so only about half the cars were there. Corvette usually tests separately. They'll be at the 12 Hour though
Well thank goodness! Appreciate it LT
Was the c8 there?
No there were just 26 cars running. It was an official test but not mandatory. They usually test separately.
