I remember seeing this very young boy tearing up blues scales and now to see him all grown up with the patience to let the notes ring out is just amazing.
Taj if Gary Moore could hear you play this as well as you do he would be amazed!!!! You are a prodigy and if not already within the next few years you will be one of the best if not the best guitar soloist in the world!!! Hats off to you for your hard work!!!!
Don't over do it! I'm also a big Gary Moore fan, and Taj is already way better than Bonamassa, but... have you seen Max Ostro? He's from an other world....

Just saw him last night in Minneapolis. The same thing happened with the broken string. He must be bending them like no tomorrow. And by the way he was FANTASTIC !!!!!
@@darklight1837 Yep agree. Intentionally snapped it 😁..... but what a player! The thing is, he can also play any style, any genre above and beyond blues/rock. Insane talent.
A very difficult piece to get exactly right in terms of feel and timing, Gary Moore was a unique player, but this fella manages a credible tribute to the master.
I remember watching him very young. His music is in his soul. His expressions were so amazing just like his playing. You can tell he literally loves music..
When Taj was talking about it being a favorite song of e3veryone's, it seemed natural to yell out "Ours Too." My first concert and it was a keeper fer sure. Didn't have a good a seat as you Brian. Thanks for the Vid. Taj & the Guys "killed it." Oh, don't forget the "Attaboy Nathan" right at the beginning. I've been listening to Nathan Bryce/Dice in Springfield, MO since 2020.
Got to see Taj & Buddy Guy recently at Harrah's Cherokee. One of Buddy's son's was there and he got up and played a couple with Taj & Buddy towards the end of a very kickass show. Taj at 15 is amazing.
Stevie Ray nor Hendrix have nothing on you young man. Servants come around very seldom. Bless your talent and riff on PLEASE ✌️. Watched you from the beginning. Ignore the money. You've abilities on the fiddle that very few...I mean very few have. Please rock on so that true guitar connoisseurs can enjoy your efforts. IE you've got what very few have. (Edit-Taj is now fourteen) Remember folks Taj is now thirteen! Amazing talent. He needs to get with another Phenom by the name of Saxon Weiss. Saxon is eleven. Great job Taj! 🎶
Also if ya dig and enjoyed this song 😀 you may also enjoy the song " Most of All " By Glenn Kaiser and Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band Awesome songs check them out. Also I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and a good question to ask yourself if you were to die today would you go to heaven ? And if yes why ? To find out more please read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on UA-cam. 😀
@@jonda2282 Ok. Are they any good? Are they on the radio? Maybe he needs songwriters to help him like other artist do. He has had more people help him than most upcoming artists. He comes from a wealthy family. Thinking by trying to shred all of the time is what makes songs great is not the key to a hit. Yes, he can play fast but he is still sloppy. Steve Vai plays very clean and is not sloppy. Ego can really affect careers. There are many past artists that have said that. I know his fans will disagree with my statements and that is fine. He had a very bad ego when Derrick The Shred Master interviewed him.
That poor Gibson...It looks like Taj tore the string on purpose. I'm sure the guitar doesn't mind taking this abuse as long as he's the one playing it.

Such a feel for blues and a grasp of melody. Behind the natural talent there is real empathy and so much dedication; all power and success to you Taj.
Speechless! Watching him grow has been special, as is his skill and abilities.

For some reason, it's a half step below Gary's version, and I much prefer the way he would end the song live to this but otherwise I agree.

Still playing with a broken string. This kid is the up and coming.
Ya, he broke it on purpose for whatever reason.
@@j.t.cooper2963 Most likely because the rest of his own version of the song was easier to perform without the string. It was unique.

sounds like Samba Party by Santana
Well, when Carlos Santana is your mentor.....
You mean Samba Pa Ti

Who needs 6 strings? Since I heard him the first time I thought there is certainly some Moore in him
Please come play in dc or md ...silver spring at the Filmore

Nothing wrong with cover songs.
Whats with the intentional E string break? 😑
To make the technique work in the best way in the rest of the melody. Unique playing technique.
