I studied German last year. I have studied German since last year. the first sentence in past tense and the second one is perfect. how we can do it in German? from the examples which are given by you shows that perfect in German is like past tens in English. it is a bit confusing. could you please explain this?
Germans use the perfect tense mostly while talking about past. Simple past tense exists but used usually in the newspaper articles, formal applications, documents etc.. So, in ordered to say "I lernt German last year", they would say "Ich habe letztes Jahr Deutsch gelernt."
Ich freue mich, Deutsch zu lernen. Übrigens, manchmal weine ich.
Deutsch lernen macht Spaß, auch wenn es manchmal schwierig ist, oder?
