Michael . . . thanks for some fantastic lessons in bagging fishies! I'm really glad this video popped up in my feed this morning. I really appreciate it. I love the knot-idea. I HATE rubber bands! Can I ask where you get your bags please? I hope you had a great day at the auction. Thanks in advance! ~Ron
@@MichaelsFishRoom Thanks, Michael. I like this longer bags you'vve got. The ones I have are too short to tie knots in. Have a great rest of the weekend! ~Ron
At our Space Coast Aquarium Society (SCAS) auctions the split for members is 75-25% and for guests is 60-40%. Good luck with your guppy grass! At SCAS auctions that stuff sells really well!
Loved the video. I'm looking forward to attending some auctions, especially our local IFGA event. Wish you could video a little of the auction just to see the atmosphere. As for folks complaining about your handling of bags of fish????? Apparently the haven't ever bought fish in a pet store. You need to capture as much air as possible in that 2/3s of bag space for oxygen transfer. This means grabbing the bag aggressively. It just is what it is!!!
Another great video omg you are funny as shit mike. Yeah that guppy grass is very beneficial to the fish and definitely makes the water nice for the fish. Oh and it makes for great fry survival in a community tank. Well cant wait till the next video comes out bro
I've been thinking about joining the Bucks county aquarium society for some time now. Got a little side-tracked by the whole 'parenting' thing (spawning and raising humans takes a lot of time!). Your endorsement here seems to be nudging me closer to actually pulling the trigger on joining. Also, beard rocks as usual!
Always great to see my buddy !
Yes it is!
We take only $1.00 for plants and live foods too!
Nice! Best auction around!
Thanks, Mike. That was very informative. I love that you use your business card. It's so much nicer than the bags marked up with a Sharpie.
And the sharpie wipes off as soon as it gets wet!

I used get them from WB Mason, but they keep effing with the prices, so I stopped. I’ll most likely try Amazon business next time.

@@garageaquatics2023 20 " long bags work best IMO for knots

So sorry and thank you.

Maybe in the subcockle area.
Possibly.
Maybe below the cockles
Maybe in the sub cockle area
Maybe in the liver, maybe in the kidneys
Maybe even in the colon, we don't know
You really do never know!
70-30% cut for my club.
See!
@@MichaelsFishRoom 30% cut to the club for auctioning. When its a club Swap theres no cut for the club besides the 15$ to set up a table.
The percentage to the club pays for things like guest speaker's, like Dean Tweedle from aquarium co op will be at our next meeting
Fish room update next vedio please 😊
Will do soon
Umm cool
I know.
Fun vid! Lots of info! How hot is it in your fish room?😆 Hope you sell all your fish, grass, etc you’re taking to the auction! 😁☮❤🐠🦐🪴 💵
