Great video on making a slingshot! 🌟 The step-by-step instructions were easy to follow, and I love how you explained each detail. Your creativity in crafting the slingshot is truly impressive. The visuals and editing were on point, making the video engaging and enjoyable. I'm inspired to try making one myself! 🔧🎯 Keep up the fantastic work, and looking forward to more awesome DIY projects from your channel! Sir can you pin my comment?👏
Wow!They are the dogs danglers mate. Its given me a kick up the backside to get on with a couple of strags(forks)I've had drying for a long long long time 😆 .Beautiful job.
@@CatapultCarnage so different but the same forks from the same branch !you've given us all the same feeling as to which one to pick 🤷lol.the dye brings out the character of the wood so well 👌 usually it's extremely hard to get a true look at a sling from a camera lens,it's really only known when the frames actually in your hand! Not the case with these.i think the answer is twins and to be kept together that's the best way I've got to explain them 😂😂I'm tapping out mate it's hard to even try to explain 😂💙💚best of luck 🍀 with your decision.and so sweet to see some quality homegrown 😎.
Gently rub the wood with wax until it turns to slingshot:) Those shapes are superb. It is the 5th dimension when introducing them - art and no other words. Great talent, great job. Thanks
My daughter has just got info about ordering 1 ov your titans it will b a cammo wrap cris 90ml for my fathers day prezzie well once I've ad a blast of it and had a kill with it. Then it will take place in my shrine you no the one kidda ..cant get enough of those naturels🔥👌🤯🤯
Thanks for your comments Mike. I preferred the green one to shoot but the blue looked much nicer I thought. I sold these as a pair and really regret it now 😒 the ergonomics of the green frame was outstanding
Lovely cattys mate natural forks are so much better than mass produced cattys the great thing is never one you make are the same and unique in there own way thanks for Shari g the vid atb
Great way to build ...and saves wood ..I tend to carve them out of the whole piece rather than cut in half Cheers Chris am going to try it out your way with that design and see how they feel and shoot ..Am currently working on one out of Antler horn and another from a willow fork or a Salix Caprea or Gpat Willow Ps the Green one looks like an absolute belter!
I was leaning towards Blue more, for no real reason other than it was pretty. But as I seen the amount of extra love and attention that went into the green one, I fell in love with Green, and if i had a choice, Green would for sure be in my hands the most.
Both are real beauties, I really like the handle on the blue one it looks very comfortable, I think I slightly prefer the green colour but the blue is nice as well. Great job mate, you've certainly got a talent for making them :)
those are really nice!! a dye that I have had good luck with on wood is Fiebings leather dye, it is alcohol based and works about the same on wood as leather, comes in alot of colors and is pretty easy to find in my area in case you need another dye.
Good work mate as always👍I like them in both dyed or undyed both has its own charakter.I think one day i would pick undyed and the other day the dyed.Making Nattys now too but i defo need a dremel or something like that.
Definitely love the dyes. Thanks for letting its know which brand exactly. I’ve been experimenting myself. Nothing close to your quality but it’s fun to just get creative and build. I think some of the wood is so beautiful even naturally, what would suggest to put on one without a dye? Any specific oil ?
Another beautiful pair Chris........love the dyes, especially the blue. Something I personally would do or try next, to give a bit more texture or visual interest, is to try brushing the dyes onto the wood grain only and NOT the bark, leave the bark it’s natural color maybe. I think that would look cool.
Awesome catapults I'm just not a fan of those color stains. I prefer natural colors/stains Guess I'm a little old school in that aspect ! But like the blue 1 style better
It was a downed tree but I still airdried it for about 3 months. Green Oak can take 2 years to dry naturally. Trying to dry it faster can crack it badly
I always try to get something thats already dead standing the normally leave in the shed for a few months. Green hardwood takes a long time to dry especially oak
The dyes really make the grain pop!
I'm excited to get new colours in
That blue mate is out of this world . Excellent job👌
Both are well made. :)
The dye really makes the grain come out so it can show itself in its natural beauty.

If I had to choose it would be a coin toss, there are both magnificent. Thanks Chris

Well those offcuts are going to make amazing kindling
I have literally just used them as kindling lol
Wow!They are the dogs danglers mate. Its given me a kick up the backside to get on with a couple of strags(forks)I've had drying for a long long long time 😆 .Beautiful job.

Ketapel yang sangat indah...
Seandainya saya bisa memilikinya satu...
Tapi saya sanggat senang melihat video ini berkali2.
Salam dari indonesia.
Amazing job! Personally, I prefer the colour of the green but the shape of the blue. Both are a work of art.
Thank you
Love how they are twins but still so different! Great job, cheers!
Thank you 😊
I like the Green one much better than the blue, it just looks more rustic to me. But they both look great❗️
Thanks for your comments Mike. I preferred the green one to shoot but the blue looked much nicer I thought. I sold these as a pair and really regret it now 😒 the ergonomics of the green frame was outstanding

I was leaning towards Blue more, for no real reason other than it was pretty.

Works of art!!
Sou fã dessas baladeiras. Aqui em minha cidade, chamamos de estilimgues ou zunga...Salvador, Ba, Brasil.

I love your slingshot.
Amazing video, you should try and use spray paint and hydropaint them.
Very Nice slingshot grips
Beautiful!
Both cracking naturals but personally I love the shape of the blue one
Thank you 😊

Great looking catapult,s.
Ace them cris top notch 👍🏻Where can I get any templates from to start making my own ?
Stunning fair play buddy 👌
Both are nice i think the one with the fater handle would work better for me blue one
Simply beautiful 😍
Belas artes Cris , duas forquilhas naturais maravilhosa , belo trabalho e apresentação 🙌👍💪
What taper would you recommend for 0.65mm band/8mm steel for hunting
Love your videos, it's all new to me, how long do you leave the wood from cutting from a tree to making a catapult?
Nice work what kind of dye was this.
Very nice mate 👌 👍
Cheers
Awesome job. I'd prepare natural finish if I'm honest but that's just my opinion. What bands do you use btw
Your video is very good i like it

BLO ( Boiled Linseed Oil ) works great to keep it natural, but really enhances the grain as well.
The blue one 😍😍
Just curious how much does one of those go for?
Excellent video both frames are excellent I would be happy with either if I had the choice 👍🏻
Gasping catapults are always accurate 😎
It's the Indian not the arrow 😉
@@CatapultCarnage Oh yes. But I am talking about this gasping 8:18 😬
Oh 🤣 yes that is correct

Very good vídeo.!!!! Parabéns.!!! Divulgando sempre.!!!! Like com CERTEZA.!!!!👏👏👏👍👍👍🎣🎣🇧🇷
Nice catapults . How long did you dry out that oak fork before using it ??
It was a downed tree but I still airdried it for about 3 months. Green Oak can take 2 years to dry naturally. Trying to dry it faster can crack it badly
Personally not crazy about that shade of green.... Blue is amazing though!
green all day long
Unique design
Amazing work Chris and to get 2 Nattys from one fork is amazing. Hey brother how do you make that wax us use? I like the finish it gives.
What kind of tools are required to make a slingshot?
Absolutely love your videos....wish I could get one of those..but India is too far too get it from u
do u sell bands on ebey-gzk bands .8 ttf for £9.50 if they are are they good for hunting bc i might get em. smashing vid.
Great work again Chris. Can I ask do you season forks over time and for how long?
I always try to get something thats already dead standing the normally leave in the shed for a few months. Green hardwood takes a long time to dry especially oak
