I don't know where you heard about the basted closed pockets, but what you said is just not true. I come from a long line of tailors and seamstresses (I'm 76) and the reason this is done is to maintain the integrity of the pockets.....especially on coats and mens suits.
I'm a theatrical tailor and I agree 100% The pockets stay basted shut until the garment is worn. It keeps them from stretching out while the garment is sewn and transported to its final home. 💙
What size are you normally and what size were the items? I’m still confused as to how the items may be sized and fit. Were the items all gifted blindly? It’s like you had no idea what you had ordered.

I got this amazing pea coat from Old Navy a couple years back and I loved it but the botttem was sewn weird and have me a very tube like shape. It was a couple years of wearing it before a friend said "You know the bottem sewn and your supposed to open it." And she just riiiped it. Luckily she was right and it made way more sense and looked like how it should. Also fun fact there was some mistake in the system when I bought it and it was literally $0.1! I love my penny coat!🤣

I absolutely LOVE asos . I discovered them thrifting !! It started with 2 shirts i got ar the thrift that not only were flattering but comfortable. Stylish. We all have different bodies and dont take anothers word for it. For example if you dont have larger legs the pants wont fit like they do on Anna . Also Anna prefers very fitted clothing.

The butter yellow was great on you. If the pants don’t do it for you, keep the jacket. The floral dress also was amazing as was the lime green bralette. So sad the gold boots didn’t fit. I have trouble with boots fitting my calfs also. My other problem with knee high boots is I am only 5’1” and most of the time the shafts come over my knees.
Now, I don't know if my brain is having a fit, but I would love to see the apple green crop top and blazer with bright pink shorts (like the paper bag waist ones that came in brown and black from boohoo a few years ago that Anna wore during a vacation) and 80's disco style earrings and a chunky ball bead necklace that goes from small to big in the same pink as the shorts. Then like a tie dye scarf of those 2 colours in her hair. Am I crazy or would that be a moment?

Anna! 😂 Where did you get your info about the pockets sewn shut? It's called "basting". It's a loose stitch used while sewing a garment to keep the pocket neat and flat while constructing...."children hiding candy in them." 🤯🤣 I just can't with you, girl. ❤️ Haha!
I live in Tyler, TX and this summer has been blistering caliente! It’s hard to be outside and enjoy these warm days because you just sweat non stop. I can’t even see cuz the sweat burns my eyes! My eyes My eyes! 🥵👀
If you love the gold boots so much, you should take them to a cobbler or a shoe/leather fixer person & have them either stretched or they can make them a little wider by cutting a v in the back & adding gold elastic. I had some boots made wider & the elastic blends nicely and I'm so happy my boots fit. Love the haul & thanks for the laughs...you definitely make my day brighter when I watch your videos 🤗

Idk, for tailoring we sew the pockets to keep them flat. Open your pockets, but youre going to want to iron them after washes. However, i have seen news stories about people hiding messages for help in the pockets, so i can understand the thought process.

The light blue dress looks like it’s from the 1800’s when people did math on their own personal chalkboards. 😆 What if you ordered a size larger in the flower dress and just sewed up part of the slit or all of it? I don’t like slits and sometimes I love the dress so I’d get them sewed as long as I could move still.

Why not just trim the one long fringe to the same length as the others? You don't have to completely remove it.
