The charismatic churches that I have experienced say all interpretations of tongues have to be, not a message to us but only speaking to God. This doctrine is wiping out two whole gifts of the Spirit, especially in the UK. I got saved through an interpretation of a tongue which God used to speak to me as a non christian. Something is wrong somewhere.
