That way you can see what Lynn W. was saying and (most of all) what Derek Prince was sharing. If you did read what I wrote in response to Lynn W.'s statement and your rebuttal- Then you agree with my statement because you're basically saying that it's so simple a child could understand it. Yes, God does use the weak to confound the strong and the "foolish" to confound the "wise". Either way, God is awesome and is worth knowing. The way to know Him is through Jesus, His Son, Who died for your sins (and all of our sins) and rose again for our justification before God. (John 3:16-18; Romans 10:9-11) Then you'll get to see first hand how God does not look for someone with all these human credentials that make Him say, "Wow. Look at the great surpassing qualities of this gem of a human being. How'd I ever create that!" (LOL) If you really read what I wrote, you'd see clearly that what Lynn W. said is clearly right! "God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies [makes a person qualified through His working and not that of the person] the called"! As for the quality of the rebuttal. You're saying what you are when you were the one who just wrote one word- "Wrong". Not too logical. No explanation. Nothing but one word with nothing to back it up. No reasons. No reasoning. Nothing to validate your claim. I'm only saying this to open you up to what just happened. You're saying I was vague when I gave specific examples of how God does use people we'd think should not be qualified. I gave specific examples of how God empowered multitudes of "unqualified" people making them qualified to walk out the calling God gave them. Don't let yourself miss out on the blessing God might want to give to you. I'm specifically referring to Derek Prince's message. It was quite a blessing. God used Derek Prince by the Holy Spirit through Jesus to deliver many people from so many sicknesses and demonic oppression! He also is pretty solid with the Scriptures although it is still good to look up the Scriptures yourself. Nothing can take the place of personally studying The Scriptures for ourselves. One last note. I'll end this comment with this- In the Scriptures, you'll find one place where God mentions what it would really take to impress Him. (Something we could never do!) You'll find it in these words God spoke to Job in response to Job's criticism of God: Job 40:1-14 ISV (Capitalization and highlight added) (1) The LORD continued His response to Job by saying: (2) "Should the one who is fighting the Almighty find fault with Him? Let God's accuser answer." (3) Then Job replied to the LORD. He said: (4) "I must look insignificant to You! How can I answer You? I'm speechless. (5) I spoke once, but I can't answer; I tried a second time, but I won't do so anymore." (6) The LORD answered Job from the wind storm and told him: (7) "Stand up like a man! I'll ask you some questions, and you give Me some answers! (8) Indeed would you annul My justice and condemn Me, just so you can claim that you're righteous? (9) Do you have strength like God? This gentleman is far and away the most knowledgeable and communicative preacher I have had the privilege to hear. His messages really resonate with me. For 10 years I struggled to be a consistent Christian. Only when I listened to Derek Prince did the pieces fall into place. May God bless your soul Mr Prince. When I was a young man, I spoke to Brother Prince at the 1977 Charismatic Conf. in Kansas City. It was only a minute , but I knew from the way he answered my questions I was speaking to a unique man, a very great man.
"Charismatic" has morphed in meaning in modern era. New Charismatics seem Bible illiterate & spiritually immature (babes), & absent the true Fruits of the Spirit.

16 July 2022 I discovered my calling after great personal tragedy.. I lost both my sons and my marriage ended and now I pray for others and their children and I am so contented not to be married. I give out Bible scripture on A4 a colour in pictures with a Bible verse and the miracles are endless..God's Word never returns void Isaiah 55.. God hears our prayers!! I'm 54 now, with 2 beautiful children, whom I love, but cannot love fully. I'm struggling with love still. I can work on Faith, Morals, Knowledge, Self Control, Perseverance, Godliness, Brotherley Kindness, but Love, I'm asking for God to melt my heart so I may love everyone for His Glory. @@angelroar883 Pray for the Holy Spirit to come into your heart. He is so tender-you will KNOW He is in you when all barriers come down! I was jaded, skeptical, hurt and so afraid of loving anyone. Until I prayed to GOD to bless me with the Holy Spirit. Oh my GOD! When He did, everything changed, my demeanor, walls of distrust and pain brought on by years of abuse, neglect were shattered and (yes I do fight against the enemy daily) there is understanding and forgiveness in my heart. I can now love unconditionally. Though I am still learning.

I love listening to Mr Prince (RIP) . Unlike most preachers he was a true teacher and i love his style without screaming and how he questions and waits for an answer. I listen over and over to his teachings. Thank you Lord for leaving his message and guiding me to him. Blessed be God.

Derek was the Minister who helped me learn of God, I found his UA-cam videos and after two years listening to Him, I can say I am a different person, all for the better, and above all, I now know God. Derek Prince is an amazing vessel of God, and I am very thankful for him and his Ministry. Glory to God.

there is a theologicalweakness in many churches of America today but Derek Prince'sstyle and teachings do bot represent the cure.his theology is largelyunbiblical especially when he discusses "angelology," specifically teaching about demons etc.

I tried to get my mom to listen to some of these sermons with me while the power was out. She fought me and was sooo obstinate. I feel like she doesn't want to hear the truth. Bc the truth upsets the evil ones. I hate that my own mother is a child of the evil one. I will continue to pray for her . That's the most powerful thing I can do.

Before coming across Derek Prince's teachings I was suffering from pornography and masturbation, most of the time I would feel self gulit, low self-esteem and regularly I would feel self pity for myself. The day I came across Pastor Derek Prince sermon on demons I discovered my problem, but my problem did not stop there; I continued watching multiple videos until I came across one wherein Derek Prince stated that I had to hate the Spirit of pornography and masturbation..... Since then my deliverance has taken it's course and as I watch more videos, the more I grow spiritual and understand more about GOD's kingdom. I am free from pornography, masturbation, alcoholism. I thank GOD for using the most humble man Minister Derek Prince.

God really called Derek Prince. He was really specifically chosen by God also because of his background as a philosopher, logician, and because he was an English speaker. I'm sure God made him an apostle just like Paul was chosen. Even now after his death more than a decade over I have learned much from his ministry. God is still using him and his messages.

I was never felt like a disciple was not like this and never Had a mentality like this. Positive attitude....none of this. I mean it was like what? Now a I wish Wish I had stayed in one place away from others that cause too much concern and worry distractions , worldly jobs, concerns....... FAMILY. Wow how I arrived here was amazing I had been watching another minister over the last week but had heard Derek Prince on the radio many many years ago a couple of times, over the last few days I have had Derek Princes name nag me to look him up even though I had , not listened to him in a long long time and that's how I arrived here for the message God wanted me to hear, how amazing is that.

I just found god because of this pastor and I was so heart broken when I found out he passed away thank you who ever put this up because he is still teaching us today he may not be here in person but he's here in the spirit he is my favorite pastor I first found jim Evans but I couldn't watch him he uses his hands in a way that made me feel uncomfortable like he makes a 6 with his hands and he made a triangle with his hands and I didn't like it so I hurried up and got off of his site and then Derek prince came on and for 3 days in a row I watched his Serman on utube and I then I got a bible and I put all of my movies away and I deleted my music and now I listen to Christian music and movies about Jesus and I asked god to come into my heart does anyone know any other good pastors on utube I am afraid of false prophets I am just learning to be a Christian and I want to be born again I been praying for that to and I would love to be delivered I been praying about it I do believe Jesus died for my sins and if someone came up to me right now and said take the mark of the beast or be beheaded I would choose to be beheaded I just want to be delivered and born again so I can spend eternity with god up in heaven

@jenniferfloyd6540 Jennifer, you can just ask Him for it, but be willing to hear whatever He says back to you. He told me my bitterness towards my parents was blocking the Holy Spirit from entering, so I let go of it then and there and the Holy Spirit came in.

Look at the great surpassing qualities of this gem of a human being. How'd I ever create that!" (LOL)
If you really read what I wrote, you'd see clearly that what Lynn W. said is clearly right! "God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies [makes a person qualified through His working and not that of the person] the called"!
As for the quality of the rebuttal. You're saying what you are when you were the one who just wrote one word- "Wrong". Not too logical. No explanation. Nothing but one word with nothing to back it up. No reasons. No reasoning. Nothing to validate your claim. I'm only saying this to open you up to what just happened. You're saying I was vague when I gave specific examples of how God does use people we'd think should not be qualified. I gave specific examples of how God empowered multitudes of "unqualified" people making them qualified to walk out the calling God gave them. Your response to Lynn W. was very vague with nothing backing up what you said. Almost like someone who just got up one day and said, "I think I'll find someone I can discourage today. She'll do. [type..type..type..] 'Wrong' Yep, that will do it. Nothing like discouraging people to make myself feel better." I'm not necessarily saying that is what happened. There are better ways to make a rebuttal. In fact, y'all probably could have had a meaningful discussion! (No sarcasm.) Why not ask Lynn W. to explain further, you might actually agree with her. As for who I was addressing, it was general although it was a rebuttal of your statement. I'll add again, I didn't just type- "Wrong" right back. I took the time to lay out comprehensively why what Lynn W. said was right. This was mainly to bless whoever would read the comments section.
Yet, God is working on all our hearts. Don't let yourself miss out on the blessing God might want to give to you. I'm specifically referring to Derek Prince's message. It was quite a blessing. God used Derek Prince by the Holy Spirit through Jesus to deliver many people from so many sicknesses and demonic oppression! He also is pretty solid with the Scriptures although it is still good to look up the Scriptures yourself. Nothing can take the place of personally studying The Scriptures for ourselves.
One last note. I'll end this comment with this-
In the Scriptures, you'll find one place where God mentions what it would really take to impress Him. (Something we could never do!) You'll find it in these words God spoke to Job in response to Job's criticism of God:

(2) "Should the one who is fighting the Almighty find fault with Him? Let God's accuser answer."

I discovered my calling after great personal tragedy.. I lost both my sons and my marriage ended and now I pray for others and their children and I am so contented not to be married. I give out Bible scripture on A4 a colour in pictures with a Bible verse and the miracles are endless..God's Word never returns void Isaiah 55.. God hears our prayers!! Never stop thanking Him for everything!!
My heart goes out to you Renee - I lost my rock, my Nana, when I was 12. My heart has been shut since then. I couldn't fully love anything or anyone. I'm 54 now, with 2 beautiful children, whom I love, but cannot love fully. I'm struggling with love still. I can work on Faith, Morals, Knowledge, Self Control, Perseverance, Godliness, Brotherley Kindness, but Love, I'm asking for God to melt my heart so I may love everyone for His Glory. Until I prayed to GOD to bless me with the Holy Spirit. Oh my GOD! When He did, everything changed, my demeanor, walls of distrust and pain brought on by years of abuse, neglect were shattered and (yes I do fight against the enemy daily) there is understanding and forgiveness in my heart. Before coming across Derek Prince's teachings I was suffering from pornography and masturbation, most of the time I would feel self gulit, low self-esteem and regularly I would feel self pity for myself. The day I came across Pastor Derek Prince sermon on demons I discovered my problem, but my problem did not stop there; I continued watching multiple videos until I came across one wherein Derek Prince stated that I had to hate the Spirit of pornography and masturbation..... Since then my deliverance has taken it's course and as I watch more videos, the more I grow spiritual and understand more about GOD's kingdom. I am free from pornography, masturbation, alcoholism. I thank GOD for using the most humble man Minister Derek Prince.

God really called Derek Prince. He was really specifically chosen by God also because of his background as a philosopher, logician, and because he was an English speaker. I'm sure God made him an apostle just like Paul was chosen. Even now after his death more than a decade over I have learned much from his ministry. God is still using him and his messages.

@jenniferfloyd6540 Jennifer, you can just ask Him for it, but be willing to hear whatever He says back to you. He told me my bitterness towards my parents was blocking the Holy Spirit from entering, so I let go of it then and there and the Holy Spirit came in.
